"Overall, excellent. We stayed 2 nights in winter. Roads were clear. A few other homes in sight but strong sense of privacy. Heating and cooking were good. Good tmobile data reception. Didnt try streaming. TV with DVD player and HDMI input. Driveway is between Bonnynook Rd intersection and american flag. Home is very clean and well equipped for your stay. Hosts are very accommodating and friendly. Top rating."

"This is a recently renovated Gold Rush era hotel, very quaint and authentic. The rooms and bathrooms have been updated to modern standards which is nice, but have authentic period decor/antiques. The town is VERY small and cute, extremely quiet (in general) and a walkable historic self-guided tour. It makes a great base of operations for exploring the area. A couple of things to know: it is 3 story, but because of the age, there is no elevator (typical with Gold Rush era hotels). They have one...

"We loved this property. The house was perfect and so comfortable. We loved those beds! The view with trees and the creek were so relaxing and beautiful. We played by the pool, and took hot tubs at night. We had plenty of room for all of us to get ready for all wedding functions. A perfect place for our family to gather."
