"The menu was varied both at breakfast and in the evening. Well stocked bar. The room was very hot, even with the provided fan but the bed was comfortable. Kept having to log back in on the internet, which elderly relatives found very tiresome. It would have been useful to have more written information, such as a selection of tourist brochures."

"Great place for football lovers. Beautiful building, Spacious and clean. Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. There is history, memorabilia and pictures of English football history and current achievements. The spa facilities are awesome and the staff too. No regrets and will definitely return. Just one negative was that our room had a shower but not a bath. I love to have a long hot bath when away but they tried to move us but the alternative rooms weren't suitable for us....

"Starting here on my own as a single woman I felt safe. My room, bathroom and the communal facilities were really clean, although there were signs of wear in a couple of places, for example the bed base. I was in the original hotel, where the building itself could do with some attention in places (window ledges, etc) which I hope they attend to because it's a beautiful building in a wonderful location.
