"We had a great stay at this property. Keep in mind they don’t provide sheets for the beds so make sure you pack some! Or you can rent from a sheet service, they provide many options for businesses that rent them.This property had everything we needed and more for our stay. The sunroom was a wonderful place to have our family meals and gather, the outdoor shower is super convenient for washing off before entering the house, and the beach is only a 15 minute walk away. "Lori was an amazing host! Her place is a great getaway for a Cape May vacation. The pictures don’t do it justice. Lori provided so many nice touches including complimentary fruit salad, bottled water, cookies, and a lovely welcome sign. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were super soft. The two couches in the living room were comfortable as well. We would love to come back and highly recommend staying here."

"This was our 4th trip to Cape May and our first time at the whaler’s cottage. It was a fun place to stay and make memories with our children and grandchildren. It sits on a quiet tree lined street with an awesome playground nearby. What we liked: There were plenty of bedrooms and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom and outdoor showers were great. The living room is spacious. A laundry room and half bath were conveniently located at the side entrance. The Forte gas range was wonderful for cooking...

"Lovely, quiet property. Close to the beach and shopping/restaurants. We took Ubers to the actual beaches (Rehoboth and Dewey) so we didn’t have to find parking. The bike path is perfect for morning runs and walks. We would absolutely rent this property again. "
