"There's windows on all sides of the house. The wall that faces the beach/bay is all windows, so you see the water at all times of day. It keeps you connected with the bay."

"But definitely not our last. We wanted a beach getaway without the traffic and crowds you find further south and Broadkill fit the bill. This cottage is perfect for a couple a family or small group. The beds are comfy and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook meals. We loved hanging out on the screened porch playing cards and a couple of the board games provided. The beach is just a 2 minute walk and my husband is still talking about the pizza he had from the Broadkill store...

"The house is perfect for small families and right on the water as advertised. Both the front and back yard are fenced in with ample outdoor furniture and grill. The porch is lovely with wrap around screened in windows, we did not use the bed in this space but a nice mostly private option for those who may need it. Very mermaid themed for all mermaid lovers."

"My partner, my roommate, and I stayed here for a week with our fur babies in early October. It was everything we were hoping for and expecting. The weather was still perfect for lazy beach days. The property was perfect for us, especially as a couple with a friend. The separate suite was so nice for us to have privacy but still be able to come together as a group when we wanted to. "From the booking all the way to check out was an excellent experience. The home is even better than the pictures & communication was prompt and above helpful. Everything you think you may need in a home is here. We stayed with our 2 teenage sons for a lacrosse tournament. It was nice to not be in the middle of all the chaos near the fields, but close enough to get to the boardwalk. The owner has a binder with information on local restaurants, things to do, etc. The only thing that put us off was...

"This was the perfect place for our family Vaca!! Very clean and well stocked with essentials. A lot of privacy is provided by the shrubbery and the beach is just a few steps away. We were 6 adults, 2 kids and 2 small dogs and we did not feel crowded at all. Loved it and definitely hope to return again. The sunrises on the beach were spectacular and there is a wildlife viewing area within walking distance for the most glorious sunsets. Definitely recommend."

"Loved our stay at this pretty house. Location is perfect. Tranquil bay on one side and short walk to the beach on the other. Lewes and Rehoboth within 15 minutes. The house had all the amenities we needed . We slept well on the beds and the showers had wall units of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I'm already planning our next stay !"
