Communication was a challenge. We had landed in Milan on arrival day before we got check-in details. This was only after inquiring multiple times and having to reach out to VRBO for assistance. VRBO could not get a host response and basically wished us luck. The check-in is complex with scanning of passports, selfies etc. Had we gotten advance notice my opinion may be different but as we stood on the street in the rain under a store awning with our luggage completing the check-in was a frustration. Add to that a contracted check-in of 3:00 we did not get in until 5:00. We were sent away to “have a coffee” at our own expense while we waited. The unit is minimally equipped and dark. It is however centrally located in a great area. Don’t expect much and this unit will suffice.
