"This is a very cozy, comfortable and tidy loft with a dedicated off street parking spot. It was perfect for our visit with family in the area. There's a beach very near, and lots of good restaurants and things to do. We look forward to returning when we're in RI again."

"We had the most amazing stay at this house near Scarborough Beach! The home was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need—truly above and beyond any other rental we’ve ever had. There was plenty of space, making it perfect for a family vacation, and it felt comfortable and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Robin, the host, was incredibly accommodating and made everything so easy for us. We would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone visiting the area and would not hesitate...

"Great location as others have stated. We spent our whole trip walking to shops, restaurants, and even the cliff walk and mansions. The place was spacious enough, clean and well appointed. Having off the street parking was great. The window blinds allow light, but keep privacy. Small recommendations…bring a portable fan if you like a fan while sleeping. There were none in the house, nor ceiling fans. AC works very well, but I like air movement and didn’t want the windows open and get too warm....

"Our gathering brought back together 2 exchange students (we hosted back in 1997-98) and their own families and our 2 daughters and their families, totaling 18 persons. they all came from CA, Brazil, CO, NY and right here in RI. The house was a huge hit! Everything was as described online. More than enough of the kitchen and bathroom essentials. The young kids in our group enjoyed the yard and the carriage house. we brought plenty of things for all ages to do as well as what was at the house...

"The house had a deck with the woods behind. Deer came out in the morning. Great fire pit and hammock in the back also. Pictures are accurate. Great proximity to Newport. Nice quiet spot for a relaxing evening after going to Newport. Jamestown has great restaurants and is a very nice old town. I would say be aware that there is a spiral staircase that some people might have a problem navigating. We did not. Property owner was very responsive and nice. We would come back."

"This home was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our stay! Everything was easy and check in/out process were smooth. Perfect location - easy access to everything we wanted to see without being right in all of the city traffic. The host was super communicative and easy to reach. We would definitely stay here again when in Rhode Island!"

"We stayed at Coastal Cottage in Portsmouth, Rhode Island for a week with my wife, son, daughter-in-law, and grandson, and it was absolutely wonderful. The waterfront view was stunning, and the house had all the amenities we needed, plus a great deck for enjoying sunsets. We even made use of the canoes! Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we created some really great family memories. I’d highly recommend it. Owner is a good host and maintained open communication throughout."
