"Beautiful country hotel, small and personal service, delightful comfortable en-suite rooms, warm inviting pool - often to ourselves, incredible top class gourmet food - formal dining and bar food served in the warm and cosy bar area or the relaxing lounge. So much choice at breakfast, all delicious, everything you could want. Can’t wait to go back in summer to enjoy the open terrace overlooking the pond. A real joy to stay here."

"The best part of the hotel was the outside,and the entrance hall and staircase.Unfortunately the rest of the hotel was very down market. The whole place needs a refurbishment ! Our room was disgusting in the bathroom there was glue ? ( not sure what is was ) on the bottom of two rows of tiles dirt stuck to it .chopped paint every where needed painting . "This is a lovely hotel full of character. Yes it looks a little scruffy on the outside but the inside is good. Every member of staff was pleasant & helpful especially on the front desk for checking in & out. We arrived early & asked about a parking permit & the lovely lady not only sorted us a parking space but also let us have our room key even thought we were a few hours early 😊 Our room was clean & had everything we needed, the walls are thin as we could hear the people next door but we...
