Location = private and remote on a steep dirt road, yet 20 min to Sugarbush, 30 min to Bolton, and <15 min to both Waterbury and Waitsfield centers. These instructions were addressed to another individual and dated 2021, which seems to be an indication of the last time the property had any attention. "Very comfortable guest house in the woods that has everything we needed for an extended weekend enjoying the fall foliage and exploring the Mad River Valley, Waterbury and Stowe. The kitchen was well equipped for meal preparation but there were also great local restaurants recommended by Beth. Dog friendly too!"

"I had good communication with the owner but admit was disappointed by the over all experience. For such a high cleaning fee, I did not expect to have to make the beds when I arrived, but did find it was in the fine print. The house is in decent condition, but having the furniture all covered with furniture blankets made it feel cheap. The heating was erratic(hot upstairs and cold down), and I was awakened one night with water noises, which turned out to be a flushing of the water system right...
