"We went down with family to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Great location. Beautiful lakeside property. Lots of room and seating. Hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond to messages. We had a fantastic time and the kids loved the big yard to play in. It is a basement location so was a bit damp in the summer, which is expected with a basement but they had a dehumidifier running in one of the rooms. "

"Over all a good place to stay. However the shower is not big enough and the shower head is in the wrong place. Difficult to have a proper shower. The place has very high humidity and the dehumidifier needs to be connected to a proper drain to run full time. "

"we stayed here for four nights with our family event in Halifax. we had a great time. the location is amazing with so much within walking distance but the house is quiet and shielded from outside noise. the history of the home is appealing but it has all the amenities we needed. it is on the second and third floor so you need to be able to do stairs. some of the things important to us: the bedrooms which had air conditioning (3/4) were very comfortable in the summer heat. "Very cute little apartment with full kitchen and a tiny patio. We weren't travelling with our pet this time, but it’s very well set up for furry companions, with cat climbing structures and dog beds suitable for smaller to medium sized dogs. It opens onto a busy street, but the Halifax Common is quite close for walks. Despite catering to pets, it was very clean with no odours."

"Overall, our stay was okay. The hotel is new and well-maintained, which made a good first impression. The room had a nice amount of space, and the bed was very comfortable — we slept well. However, there was an issue with the hot water one morning. We waited for almost an hour, but unfortunately, the problem wasn't resolved in time, and we had to take cold showers. That was a disappointing start to the day. Aside from that, everything else met expectations."
