"Home is great. A bit of a challenge to reach due to part of the Blue Ridge Parkway being closed due to Helene. Went with the notion of being a wedding anniversary and near a dark sky site. Excellent in terms of privacy and relative darkness. Spouse is 5'2" and had a lot of trouble entering and exiting the hot tub. The mini split ACs are very effective, although it was challenging to understand they all have to be set to AC or heat to work. I'm technically inclined, so this did not pose an issue...

"This house was an excellent basecamp for a group of friends looking to explore the Linville Gorge area over a few days. The house is very cute & located in a beautiful neighborhood just a couple miles from many of the trails in Linville Gorge. Everything was clean & well ordered and the check-in/check-out process was straightforward. Highly recommend!"

"Captain's Cabin is charming, welcoming and generously appointed for maximum comfort. Juliana thought of everything! We had a wonderful, relaxing stay--especially while drinking coffee in the mornings, on the screened back porch. The cabin is located in a rural area, so there are roosters crowing and dogs barking. But, I would go again tomorrow if I could! A couple of good restaurants downtown topped off the pleasant weekend. Can't wait for next time."
