"Stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute. The view out of the two picture windows facing the ocean was mesmerizing for two land-locked folks from Nebraska. "This VRBO has a panoramic view of the Ketchikan harbor as advertised. This unit is perfect for a couple. We didn't have a vehicle during our stay, so we walked a lot. There are steep hills and lots of stairs which should be considered if that is an issue. Taxi service is reasonable and responsive if needed. We visited during the off-tourist season but were able to find several nice places to eat. "

"We had a terrific stay on the Lady Faye - we are a family of 4 with 2 teen boys ( age 17 and 13). "The Bear Den was a great home base for our family of 4 in Ketchikan. We could easily head into town or south to see eagles and bears, or head north for open views and whale watching. "We loved the place. Plently of space for our party, Everyone had their own bed & two bathrooms. Only 20 mins from downtown. It is tucked back off the road, a nice place to relax after a day of exploration. We have no complaints & would stay again if make it back. We had a car to move around the island on our own pace, this is also why we chose a place off the beaten path. Loved it, total recommend!"
