"The staff were very helpful and attentive. We stayed there over a week, and experienced a few small glitches. They went out of their way to help us.
The location was perfect; slightly out of town, so quiet, but a short walk into town. The. hot tub was extremely clean and well taken care of.
The breakfasts were varied and very good. They even provided gluten-free granola and breakfast cakes. On a morning when the only egg options contained meat, the cook was happy to make us a scrambled...
"Very, very musty smell upon entry and the appeareance was that of 1975 (believe me, I know). Towels smelled... unclean. Clear indicators of poor attention to detail: King size head boards for queens sized beds, missing night stands on the sides of beds, three pillows per bed (why not four - two per person for a queen since there were four of us at reservation time), and "constant on fan" shuts off. For $200 a night, I'd rather of chosen something else. We will not be staying there in the future....

"This is a beautiful lodge and property with gorgeous views of the surrounding land.
The room was lovely with a panoramic view, comfortable bed and antique furniture. In comparison, the bathroom seemed a bit basic (poor quality shelving and lighting), which did not seem in keeping with the nice room.
The lodge had lots of wonderful communal spaces to sit and read or take in the view.
It seems that housekeeping was available only by request, which we were not informed of on check in.
