"We very much enjoyed our stay at The Mill at Waunakee. It is a self check in hotel, so we did not deal with any staff. Ample onsite parking available. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was great! There is a coffee shop downstairs. We had two excellent breakfast experiences there. The location is terrific, walking distance to the downtown restaurants and shops. We had a very nice time!"

"The staff was friendly and the hotel quiet and clean. It didn't have an elevator however, which caught me off guard. I don't need a handicap room, but my knees do not like stairs. Only negative comment/caution."

"Theres no fans in the bedrooms and no way to adjust the temperature, which was the only thing we found to be an issue. Everything else was absolutely perfect!"

"The parking lot was newly surfaced. The air conditioner was easy to operate. The floor of our room was not swept. The sheets in one of the beds had little stains on them which indicated bed bugs. There were large plastic tubes mounted on the outside wall between every two room entrances with a hole cut into the top that were filthy for cigarette butts."

"Our room and breakfast were pretty nice. The hotel is a bit out of the way for restaurants (other than the pizza place next door), but only 5 minutes from Baraboo by car. I loved that half of the Jacuzzi was outside. the check-in-day receptionist was polite but did the bare minimum -- offered no information at all on breakfast, wifi, and where the amenities are located. While the hotel is only 3 years old, the water fountains did not work, the lock on the swimming pool door usually did not...

"Room very clean. Staff very helpful. Parking was convenient. AC was ice cold in 90 degree heat wave! Needed a blanket! Huge pool with TWO hot tubs! Large breakfast area. Food was what you’d expect, hot and fresh. Recommend without any reservations!"

"The toilet seat was ready to fall off. The TV remote was impossible to use. Needed instructions for the remote. Kids in the pool were unsupervised."

"The bed, towels and sheets were nice. The bathroom was incredibly small but it was nice having the sink outside. Not meant for tall people according to my husband. It was quiet, and a reasonable size. The phone doesn't work to get a hold of the front desk 😒 The air didn't work right in our room either and when I went down to the desk there was no one there"
