"I had a suite for a week to relax and visit with my son who lives in Menomonie. Several of the days were spent doing just that, relaxing and visiting. The homey atmosphere was just what I needed! We were going to fix a meal one evening and the stove top didn’t work. With just one person there, we weren’t able to have it checked out. I forgot to remind them of that when I checked out. "Stephanie is absolutely delightful! Wonderful knowledge of the community and the history of Oaklawn Inn and Menominee in general. This is a charming and thoughtful bed-and-breakfast. Speaking of breakfast… it was great! A special bonus is the large wraparound screen porch with lots of comfortable seating. We will be back in September and we’re going to book now. "

"The property was outdated and dirty. Walls were dirty the tub had hair all over it. Not a pleasant stay."

"Room was clean and beds comfortable. However they need to put exhaust vent and grab bars in bathroom. Also bathroom door did not close well-it was binding around the frame.
Looked like they were in process of renovation as many mattresses piled up outside by a dumpster on property.
Food items at breakfast were so-so"
