"We love the 2 big rooms connected as one big house. We love the woody property that is very close to downtown Mendocino. Very quiet and safe. The unit that we got needs a few upgrades. The carpet has to go. The other units have hardwood floors. The wifi is weaker at night, u cant watch anything. Same goes w the cellphone signal, cant make a phone call not surf the internet even if you used your own data. The staff were very friendly and front desk personnel were quick to response. "Great helpful staff. Uniquely decorated rooms in historic property. Fantastic breakfast provided. Note that the house is 3 stories with no elevator. Not a problem for us, but others might want to keep this in mind if elderly or challenged. Easy walk to beach trail to a beautiful State Park Beach."

"Grounds are beautiful. Almost every room has a fairly open view of the ocean. There are plenty of chairs spread around the grounds for relaxing with a glass of wine. The rooms are tastefully done and have very comfortable beds and linens. The restaurant attached to the property has a somewhat limited menu but everything we got tested great. Hope to come back again someday! "
