"It´s a old hotel, and it´s still good, but you can see it already had better times. The decoration is cool, with a lot of antiques. The room was very small - it was difficult to find a place to open the bags, but the bed was comfortable. There was not a microwave or anything else, but there was a restaurant that seemed good and had high prices - as is the rule in the region. The provided breakfast was good and the staff tried to provide anything we asked. The best parts were that they gave us...

"Verena was a great host. We had a large group and rented all the rooms. Everything was perfect in the house. As to location, it’s great. The train station is across the street. A restaurant is next door. The lake is across the train tracks. And the views from every window is fantastic. Highly recommended."

"Had a wonderful stay in Sachseln with family, contracted for the entire B&B. B&B is run is true Swiss fashion, timely, efficiently, clean. Plenty of bedrooms, shared baths, recently built gazebo outside which was great for outdoors wine/cheese. Verena operates a beautiful villa directly on lake Sarnen, good restaurants and local stores nearby... excellent for access to Swiss rail as the station is directly behind the villa. Would look forward to staying at Verena's Boutique Villa again..."
