"My sister and I stayed here for the Fourth of July week. The house is exactly as advertised. Exceptionally clean, well stocked, beautifully decorated... We loved how comfortable the beds were, we enjoyed the fire pit, we enjoyed how close the house was to Silverlake, but yet we felt secluded in our own little wooded area.Highly recommend! "The yard was a big hit ..with kids and a small dog the outside was much visited . I enjoyed my coffee every morning outdoors either lake side or back yard watching all the birds and squirrels. Open space in middle of house to visit n eat together was very good , kids loved the outdoor shower! Pretty quiet nice neighborhood. Close to ever thing . Thanks for sharing your home with us . "

"My husband and I stayed at this property for a weekend getaway, and were beyond happy with the accommodations! The charming old motel (100+ years!) has been updated to modern comforts without losing its special vintage charm and character. The welcome book they provided had great info about local things to do, places to eat, and more.
