"The Room was very clean, Made us feel at home. Had just about everything we needed but anything we didn’t have we were able to get with a quick trip to Walmart. It is on an intersection so it can be a little noisy at nights or in the early morning with cars driving by but my fiance really enjoyed his birthday stay here!"

"The building and hallways are dated and have that old smell. The apartment itself was clean upon entry. It was decorated nice. However, when we went to cook many of the dishes were dirty. We also started moving the decorative plates off the dining table to eat dinner and had roaches run from under the plates. I got a picture of a baby one that I will include. My son in law also said that he found a bedbug on the couch and killed it. These are issues that people don’t want to deal with on...

"A winter stay didn't allow for seeing all the benefits of the location, but it seemed like a good spot for metro and highway access. The building is dated but clean. The unit was clean and functional. The kitchen was fine and well appointed with all of the expected necessities. The bathrooms are in need of updating. Some water damage is evident. And one shower head did not work at all, but I'm sure it will be resolved. The living areas were clean. A true coffee table would be better to...

"This was a perfect place for our needs. We were going to DC for our son’s graduation. This is very close to Gallaudet and Catholic University of America is 2 metro stops away. The Union Market is close by. Heather, the host, was flexible and responsive to what we needed. She seems to have thought of everything. It’s small details -like having a couple of metro cards to use, a wine bottle opener, coffee filters, and a Pyrex container to put in leftovers. She has a book by the TV which is very...

"What a great stay! This unit is in an excellent location and was on a quiet street. It was cozy and had everything we needed for a 5 night stay. Steve was so awesome at communicating, providing anything we needed, and so helpful with travel and tips for a storm that came through. Would love to stay here again! "

"This apartment was wonderful! In a prime and safe location just 10 minutes away from DC, and the local area in Alexandria was beautiful. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. Incredibly quiet and serene, parking was convenient, we had all of the supplies we needed from clothing irons to hangers and complimentary sanitary products! I have only positive things to say about this unit and would 10/10 recommend it to anyone looking to come to the area!"

"Don’t stay here. I checked in and the beds were dirty, there were dishes in the sink, and the bathroom was dirty as well. I called the host to help me. I sent photos. They said they would try to help me. And there was no response for an hour or afterwards. I couldn’t stay in a dirty bed so I had to book another hotel. As of today, I have not received any response from the host, or reimbursement, or apology."

"Overall, the location of this place and the apartment itself is wonderful. The check-in process is cumbersome, as well as the process to get/use the garage access. However, I would do it all over again, the price for parking here is much cheaper than anywhere else. There is quick and easy access to DC via the subway. Definitely recommend staying here with a family versus in DC for much more cost."
