"Brentwood Bay Resort is a beautiful property in a great location right on the marina, and only about 15 minutes from the Victoria airport. "This was potentially the worst hotel stay I've ever had. I've never stayed in a room with such poor sound proofing before and sleeping was miserable. You could hear EVERY time someone opened their door. It didn't help that the bar had karaoke playing super loudly too on Friday and Saturday night. You could hear everything. The guy working at the front desk was lovely but there's only so much you can do to block the noise. It was hard to fall asleep before 1am and I was woken up both mornings...

"The motel was quite run down on the exterior. The interior seemed clean, unusual handprint on the wall & no hot water. My brother's family also had a room that somehow smelled mike smoke from a room below them. No staff to help with the situation amd they had an 18 month old. Many homeless around and in/out parking lot. Didnt feel super safe to be honest."
