The Space:
Come be "ONE with the woods" in Massanutten Resort, Virginia! This wooded 4-bedroom, 2-bath chalet welcomes up to 12 guests for family vacations, trips with friends, and Shenandoah Valley adventures. Spend the day exploring, then return for a private hot-tub soak and an evening beside the fire.

Your stay includes an outdoor **MPOA pool pass for up to 8 people**, subject to the pool’s seasonal operating dates, hours, and rules. The pass covers up to 8 people even if your reservation has more guests. It does **not** include the Massanutten WaterPark or other resort facilities.

- Winter:** Skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, lessons, and ice skating.
- Warmer months: Mountain biking, golf, scenic chairlift rides, horseback riding, zip lines, and the Family Adventure Park’s mountain coaster and children’s activities.
- Any-weather fun: The indoor WaterPark, escape rooms, virtual reality, arcade games, arts and crafts, and spa services.
- More ways to play:Hiking, fishing, pickleball, tennis, playgrounds, mini golf, go-karts, and resort dining. The outdoor WaterPark and some other activities operate seasonally.

Resort activities are separate from this home’s rental. Tickets, admission, passes, equipment rentals, lessons, and other fees are charged per activity or facility where applicable. Hours, prices, eligibility, weather, and availability vary; check directly with Massanutten Resort before making plans. Indoor fitness-center passes, which include indoor-pool access, can be purchased separately and are not included in your stay.

Guest Access:
Guests have use of the home’s guest living and sleeping spaces, kitchen, washer/dryer, deck, hot tub, grill, and two outdoor propane fire pits.

Parking accommodates up to 4 cars at the property, with overflow parking available within the resort. Use designated parking areas and follow posted resort instructions.

An outdoor MPOA pool pass for up to 8 people is included, subject to the pool’s operating schedule and rules. Other resort activities and facilities may require separate admission, reservations, or fees. Do not assume WaterPark, ski, golf, or other resort tickets are included.

Guests can separately purchase indoor fitness-center passes that include indoor-pool access. These passes are not included in your stay and are subject to facility availability, hours, and rules.

Self check-in uses a smart lock. Your code is provided on the morning of check-in. When leaving, pull the door firmly closed and press the lock button, then confirm it is locked.

Pool passes will be at the house when the outdoor MPOA pool is open. Please leave the passes at the house when you depart.

Winter on the Mountain:
Plan days of skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing, then come home to the hot tub and fireside conversation. Winter activities depend on weather and operating conditions; check schedules and reserve tickets or lessons in advance.

Spring, Summer & Fall:
Explore hiking and mountain biking, book a round of golf, enjoy scenic chairlift rides, or check out the Family Adventure Park and zip-line activities. The resort’s indoor/outdoor WaterPark offers another way to build a family day, with outdoor attractions operating seasonally. Dining, spa treatments, and escape rooms give your group options beyond the trails. Activities have separate schedules, age or height requirements, and admission policies.

Shenandoah National Park & Skyline Drive:
Make time for a scenic drive, overlooks, forest walks, or a waterfall hike in Shenandoah National Park. The Swift Run Gap entrance connects US Route 33 near Elkton with Skyline Drive. Choose trails that match your group’s ability and check current park conditions, entrance requirements, and pet restrictions before you go. Fall foliage, spring greenery, and summer hiking make the park a reason to return in different seasons.

James Madison University & Harrisonburg:
Visiting JMU? Use the home as a base for campus visits, Dukes game weekends, family visits, and graduation trips. Add time in downtown Harrisonburg for restaurants, local shops, and a change of pace from the mountain. A vehicle is needed for these outings.

Explore More of the Shenandoah Valley:
Plan a day trip to Luray Caverns and its underground formations, or visit Grand Caverns in Grottoes. Pair a cavern outing with a drive through the valley and stops in its towns. These are regional excursions, not attractions within walking distance of the home.

Resort experiences, park visits, and regional attractions are subject to availability and may require separate tickets or fees. The included outdoor MPOA pool pass is specifically for up to 8 people; it does not include every resort attraction.

Getting Around:
A car is recommended for your stay. Massanutten’s activities are spread across the resort, and a vehicle is needed for Harrisonburg/JMU, Shenandoah National Park, and regional day trips.

Up to 4 cars can park at the property. Additional vehicles must use designated resort overflow parking; follow posted restrictions and keep neighboring driveways and roadways clear.

For Shenandoah National Park, plan your route via the appropriate park entrance rather than navigating only to the park’s general map label. Swift Run Gap on US Route 33 near Elkton is one entrance to Skyline Drive. Check weather, road conditions, and attraction hours before leaving. Allow extra travel time for mountain roads, winter weather, holiday traffic, and JMU event weekends.
