"We had an amazing time at Bear Cabin! It’s definitely an excellent choice for some much-needed R&R. The cabin is perfectly located, incredibly spacious, and equipped with all the right amenities. The beds were super comfortable, and the hot tub was the perfect icing on the cake! Overall, a 10/10 experience—we can’t wait to come back! 🏡✨"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The house is great for groups and has something for all ages - plenty of games, books, sauna, and hot tub. The host is communicative and able to answer any questions. Would recommend!"

"We had a great stay here for JMU Family Weekend and would absolutely stay again! The house was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. It was also very easy to get to, with plenty of parking and, importantly for Massanutten, no crazy steep driveway! The host was wonderful and extremely responsive. We had an unexpected situation come up very late one evening, and the host was responding to us even around 12:30 a.m., which we really appreciated. We also loved that the house was pet...

"I loved this house. It had everything we were looking for and more. The hot tub is great, the game room super fun and we loved morning coffee on the deck.Ashley, the owner of the house, responded to all requests quickly and was very accommodating! We would rent this house again!"

"Very luxury style stay, felt right at home and the extra details really do make a difference. One of the best vacation homes to stay at. And an added bonus is that there were no issues with heating/cooling the entire home or hot water issues. Very clean, comfortable and host has clearly thought of everything you would need. She was very responsive, replies came within minutes. Outstanding!!"

"We loved the property. We had 3 families that stayed for the week. We enjoyed all the amenities. We had 4 children that loved the billiards and the bunk room. We enjoyed the outdoor games and relaxing in the hot tub. Highly suggest staying here."

"Nice property. Bathroom cleaning could have been a little better. But overall a good value!"

"The house was excellent for our short weekend trip. The house has several rooms and a nice kitchen and my boys enjoyed the game room and pool table. We also used the outdoor fire pit which was very easy to get setup. The location is great as it’s close to activities, restaurants, and the water park."

"Great experience"

"Great, modern layout for the family to use. Enjoyed the big table, comfortable sitting areas, ample sleeping areas, kitchen, and the location."

"House was very nice in many different ways but the pictures on the internet did look better then in person but still a very nice spot"

"I had a good time with my family; the house is very nice."

"Communication with the property manager was excellent. The location of this home within Massanutten is also convenient. But the listing photos are either old, digitally enhanced, or both. The property is in desperate need of a thorough deep clean, to say the least. We were really disappointed to arrive and find that the property wasn’t nearly what was depicted in the photos, and definitely upset to have paid the rate that we did to stay here. Photos in this review are from our stay in June...

"The place was fantastic. Loved the sauna and game room basement. Great location and nice quiet place. "

"House was great and the location was great. We came up for JMUs family weekend so we were 25 minutes from everything in Harrisonburg and the Massanutten resort offers so many attractions! Great amount of space in the house for our party as well!"
