"The hotel is in need of a complete refurbishment as it is dated, very tired looking and in parts very tatty. Having said that the room I was allocated was large and spotless. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom amenities were acceptable. The breakfast at this hotel was very good. The car park is small and I was lucky to get a parking space during my stay. Os funcionários não trabalham felizes, por vezes chegam a ser ríspidos. Não tem frigobar. O cardápio é igual sempre, no café da manhã e no jantar. "Th Leicester Inn is a very old listed property and as such has some wonderful aspects giving it great character. Being old and listed also means that modern features like double glazing and air conditioning are not present and we stayed on one of the hottest days of the year. Our room was very hot but a fan was provided and we were able to have an open window. There is a good size car park at the rear of the Inn. Food and service were superb."

"There was a golden wedding lunch party on the Saturday I stayed and one couple brought their dog which constantly yapped all afternoon when they left it outside in the garden. It did not make for a very relaxing afternoon reading on the terrace."
