"This was a lovely little cottage on a shared property in a remote wooded area. The amenities (pool, fireplace, and trampoline) were great hits with my kids and the setting in the woods was stunning. The hosts were exceedingly gracious and kind. That said just note that the property is shared so you are utilizing the grounds of the host. "

"We spent a long weekend at the home for a girl's weekend spa visit and relaxation. The home was easy to navigate with everything easy to find (with lots of labels)! The pool/hot tub was wonderful on the one sunny day we had. The fireplace was cozy on the rainy days. Great place for a visit!"

"This cottage is very clean with a wonderful smell upon entry. The retro decor is amazing! Very cozy and serene atmosphere. The Scavenger Hunt was a lot of fun too. We came up for the Bonnie Raitt concert, stayed 2 days. We should have stayed longer! We definitely will return. Thanks so much Jen!"

"Clean. Handicap friendly. Mesmerizing. Zen. Everything we needed was there (and more). Peaceful. Loved all the windows. Private. My husband and I enjoyed making up stories about the geese going up and down the river - Simple times. Highly recommend! Our only issue is we ran out of time off ;-)The pictures on line do not due the place and feeling justice"

"Beautfiful property on the river, nice and secluded feeling. The house has everything you could need. A mild smell of a damp dog but otherwise very nice."

"The house was lovely, inviting, comfortable, spacious and aethetically pleasing. Great hot tub. Excellent supplies of towels, coffee and other kitchen amenities. Close to Bethel woods, which was our reason for being in the area. A terrific stay."

"Place was cute. The master bedroom was nice and comfortable. Didn’t cook on this trip but house had everything you would need. The little pond had frogs which were cute and we had a deer in the yard on the last morning which was fun to see. The hot water did smell like sulfur/rotten eggs but that seems common for this area. Angel responded very quickly when I had a question. This was very helpful. "

"This is the most beautiful place... this is our second time staying here and we will come again. If you want peace, nature and simplicity this is worth it. The cottage is well maintained and has just about everything you need. Enjoyed or dtay here very much."

"We booked the 2 houses for my daughter and her friends to celebrate the end of their senior year. This property was amazing! Besides the grounds being beautiful right on the lake, the lake house was perfect. It was clean and so stocked with everything you might need (we brought our own food and beverages) I was so impressed. There were 3 bedrooms in each, the lake house was definitely bigger and had more to offer, but the other was fully stocked, clean and comfortable and it did have a hot...

"We enjoyed our stay very much. Was as described, though some wear and tear. Took us awhile to figure out all the gizmos but eventually we did and all worked well. Bathroom shower was very nice as was the jacuzzi. Nice to walk the quiet woodsy streets. Overall was a very pleasant stay."

"Joe was incredibly easy to communicate with. His son, Tommy, whom lives on the property was very welcoming and available for any assistance. The scenery was beautiful and relaxing and the location was just far enough out to be quiet and secluded but close enough to towns that getting what you need was easy. Will definitely look at staying again in the future. "

"House was beautiful! Airy, cool and bedrooms were comfortable! Such a cute cottage and outdoor fire pit was amazing."

"I truly cannot say enough great things about this property and its hosts. Our group had such a great time here. The house was in fantastic condition, it was thoughtfully stocked with supplies, and had every amenity one could imagine. The property is beautiful and obviously has more space than we knew what to do with. The hosts were accommodating, responsive, and welcoming from beginning to end.I can confidently say this is one of the best property rental experiences I have ever had. I'm not sure...
