"Justin was very responsive and helpful. They left a gift basket with lots of yummy treats for us. The house is very cozy and just about anything you may need is there. It was extremely cold the days we were there and the ground was snow covered so we didn't get a chance to spend time outside. You really need to have the wood stove running to get adequate heat. It doesn't warm up as much as we are comfortable with when relying on the heat alone. It's understandable because the ceilings are...

"We were not impressed with this run down home. It needs A LOT of TLC. It had an old musty smell and was far from clean. The microwave and toaster oven were filthy, with food stuck in them. When we went into the bedrooms, the sheets were folded on the foot of the beds. We had to make the beds. When we did, 2 of the sets of sheets were stained. It was discusting. The towels were in very bad shape, thin and none matched etc. The carpets were dirty and the chair in the downstairs bedroom was dirty....

Unfortunate because otherwise I would recommend this spot - but I highly recommend you avoid unless you feel like dealing with a head ache. Will not be coming back here."

"This is a very nice home. The kitchen was very well equipped, the bed was comfortable and the living space was very functional. The location was perfect for what we were doing. It was nice to be along the river. We could hear and see the crew team in the morning which was fun. John was very prompt in his communication, which always makes a stay easier. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area."
