Was realy nice there. Nice reef to dive, nice tent,.nice food. Only the transportationprice to the Airport was to expensiv. Taxi was so much cheaper.

Very unique experience. Great staff, great facilities, beautiful house reef, hotel, rooms. Food was great too. only negative point that you have to pay for wifi, at least it should be included in the public areas.

Hotel vue superbe et tranquillité pour plongeurs
Très bon séjour au Marsa Shagra Village. La vue est folle sur le spot de Plongee, la nourriture est correcte, les serveurs sont très sympas et tous habillés de la même manière. Les chalets sont rudimentaires mais literie bonne, eau chaude et climatisation Ok. Par contre nous voulions faire du freediving et on nous a toujours donné une bonne excuse entre instructeur absent, mauvaise condition!!!?? Ou encore fallait prévenir plus tôt. Sinon dans le négatif hormis chalet et buffet compris dans le prix on a vraiment l’impression d’être une vache à lait que ce soit pour la plongée (4 Plongées à 200€) ou encore le service de navette (marsa hurghada a 120€)…

Barriera corallina meravigliosa. Centro diving molto ben attrezzato, anche per lo snorkeling. Possibilità di affittare a un prezzo esiguo l'attrezzatura (maschere, pinne, mute). Boudi, ragazzo del diving supergentile, premuroso e attento alle esigenze dei clienti. Personale della cucina gentile e sempre sorridente. Bagni in comune sempre puliti.

Plongée pour tous à quelques coups de palme
Un séjour en famille cool avec objectif plongée. Cours de plongée vraiment de très bonne qualité pour les jeunes et les adultes. Super ambiance et un récif fabuleux est à quelques coups de palme. Les repas sont de bonne qualité et variés Le personnel tant côté hôtel que côté plongée est vraiment souriant et sympathique

Hotel/Restaurant lala - Hausriff Weltklasse -
Die Gebäude sind ok - teils renoviert worden gegenüber vor 4 Jahren. Das Restaurant bietet eine überschaubare Auswahl an Essen - mit gesundheitlichen Einschränkungen nicht einfach aber wenn Chef-Koch Wallid anwesend hilft dieser hervorragend (leider halt nicht immer da). Es gibt für den Preis deutlich bessere Hotels mit Restaurants - aber eben nicht mit solch einer super Tauchbasis und tollem Hausriff - daher nehme ich den minderen Komfort gerne in Kauf.

Loved the tranquility. Didn’t love the poor communication or having to ask more than once about addressing certain problems or concerns. Also, would be nice if they had free wifi. Who doesn’t have free wifi in this day and age?

Great Village, good diving, yummy food, Excellent
For us it was just perfect...we booked a Royal Tent and had a great stay. The tents are really good-sized and comfy. Good diving on a beautiful house reef... use the unlimited diving package. Yummy food and excellent staff! We had a marvellous stay and will be back for sure! Big thanks and compliments for eco-awareness shown everywhere in the village. Suggestions: 1. We did not have a pre-booked diving package and felt a bit lost and not fully informed about the system in the beginning...had to ask in repeated ocassions and still had a "misunderstanding" with the final bill which, after insisting a few times, was "solved". 2. We stayed in RT5... bathroom facilities at this end of the village would be great ;-) We really enjoyed our stay, loved the food and were amazed about the beauty of the house reef. What to say about the staff? We will miss your smiles and hospitality guys... Hope to see you all on our next visit!

Beautiful and relaxing
The place is lovely. We stayed in a Deluxe chalet which was comfortable and beautiful, with the view on the sea on one side and the desert and mountains on the other side (but careful to mosquitoes). We went there for a week end of February to snorkel and relax and it was the perfect place. Beautiful fishes and reef (thanks to the staff who make sure that people don't abuse the reef). We also saw many turtles and one white tip shark. The staff is friendly, professional and relax. The food was good. The transfer from Marsa Alam airport is quick and can be organised by the staff on demand. Everything was well-organised and made easy for the guests.

Prachtige locatie aan een natuurlijke baai.
Het ecologische aspect van dit tentenkamp/dorp staat vooraan. Locatie bedoeld voor de echte duikliefhebbers en snorkelaars. Men moet geen klassieke"luxe-ervaring" verwachten, het is wel een aanrader voor natuurliefhebbers en kampeerders die kunnen genieten van deze "back to basic" ervaring. Ik heb van iedere dag enorm genoten en ga beslist terug!

Royal Tent for 2 nights
My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay in a royal tent! The tent was just what we needed -- simple, comfortable, and clean. We even had a front row view to the sea! The bathrooms were a little bit of a walk from our tent, which made me dread having to go to the bathroom during the middle of the night. The food and staff were excellent with lots of variety for each meal. The reception desk helped us organize a day trip south along the Red Sea to see Qulaan and snorkel at Hankorab beach -- super affordable and a wonderful day! I will say that for Egypt prices, the tent is a little spendy for accommodations. Yes, you are right on the water and have access to all inclusive meals and beverages, but at times it felt like we were paying a "divers tax", especially since we weren't necessarily there for the diving. All in all, highly recommend and would love to stay here again if we are ever back in Egypt!

Wohnen in einem Beduinenzelt am Strand, aufwachen zum Meeresrauschen, Wind und Luft sind immer spürbar - ein Erlebnis für Menschen, die den direkten Kontakt mit der Natur schätzen. das normale Zelt ist einfach eingerichtet, 'Basic', es braucht aber auch nicht mehr. die sanitären Anlagen sind sehr sauber. wunderbar warmes Wasser in den Duschen (wichtig im Januar!) das Restaurant bietet Buffet mit guter Auswahl, morgens Omeletten, Crepes, diverse Brötchen, Käse, etc., abends tolle Nachspeisen, immer gratis Softdrinks, freundliche Bedienung! wir waren Ende Januar dort - eine recht windige Zeit, die Nächte können bis auf 10° abkühlen (es sind genug Decken da), mit Sonne ist es tagsüber warm genug auch mit kurzer Hose und für Sonnenbrand reichts auch so. zum Tauchen und Schnorcheln herrlich ruhig!!! es sind im Januar sehr wenige Gäste vor Ort. das Dive-Center ist gut geführt. uns hat es sehr gefallen! wunderbares Riff mit vielen vielen Fischen, Delfinen, Schildkröten...

Für mich das Beste was es in Sachen Tauchort gibt.
Es war wie immer super. Das Personal ist soooo freundlich, hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend und die Unterwasserwelt begeistert mich immer wieder aufs Neue. Auch konnte ich an den Yoga-Stunden teil nehmen. Das hat das Tauchen ideal ergänzt. Ich liebe auch das im Zelt übernachten mit Wind und Meeresrauschen.

Very nice place, i stayed in a Deluxe Chalet.. There are only Television in 10 of the Deluxe Chalets. But the Chalet was nice and cool and with Aircondition. The food in the Buffet Bar was ok, but could use som spices, but no bad food... All the staff everwhere was nice and polite and service minded

reduce to the max! this place is AWESOME!
me and my daughter aged 13 stayed in Marsa shagra for 4 days right after easter and the descicion to stay there was the best we could have made. We had a simple beachfront tent and thats all you need. it was superclean and 'roomservice' gave it a tidy-up everyday. Beds were perfectly comfortable. shared bathrooms were perfectly clean, hot water at any time, showergel and towles provided. I have to acknowledge that I have never ever been in a place anywhere in the world with shared bathroom /shower facilities that had been cleaned 10x a day, but this was the case here :-) !! Thumbs up for the managament, as shared facilities are a pleasure to use in such condition. Food was varied buffet, staff super friendly and caring, extra wishes were made reality within minutes. again thumbs up! I had a problem with recharging a battery for my camera, and the guys from the reception started to work out a plan how to get me a battery. Took 'em 10minutes & I had fresh batteries at a local's price. Problem solved. client happy! again thumbs up! not a single piece of rubbish or plastic laying around anywhere, neither around the resort, nor on the beach! The guys are is seperating waste into glas, plastics etc! responisble tourism at its best! Finally the reef: awesome!! housereef in stunning condition, reefshark & turtles on my first snorkel right off the resort. coral in excellent condition! I give you guys SIX out of five stars, for this 3* resort - we will definitley come back! only
