More like 4 1/2 stars. Nice, well equipped, property. Great location with scenic view. A regular table and chairs near the windows would be nice. Only place to sit and eat is the counter in the kitchen where you face the back wall. Instructions on how to use the TV in the living room would have been helpful.

incredible place.

incredible place. wish i could give it more than 5 stars. mrs. meeks provided lots of info. easy check in. key provided in lockbox. amazing that it was available for a short stay in the summer. saw dolphins out the window. extremely clean. ac great. had what we needed in the kitchen. bed comfy. GREAT stay. hope to stay again !!!! thank you!!!!!

Very relaxing stay!

We loved staying here! It was so much more than we expected. Loved having the restaurant right in the building. But nothing beats watching the boats from the window or balcony

Beautiful weekend getaway

The property was very clean and looked just like the photos. The balcony overlooking the Marina was wonderful, and we would definitely stay here again! Mary was very kind.

Great Property for a Couple Vacation

This condo was just right for a couple's short beach vacation. The only things that would have made it even more perfect would be a small, standard height dining table (maybe a Murphy table where the living area console or electric fireplace are located), and some newer towels & washcloths. We left some salt and pepper shakers for the next guests.

Wonderful location for OBX adventures

We had a lovely stay at Mary's condo (what a view!) while we enjoyed attending the OBX Bluegrass Island Festival. The condo was comfortably furnished and well equipped, and its location is terrific for accessing downtown Manteo, hopping over to Nags Head and points north, or visiting the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. This place will stay on my VRBO trip board for sure!

Lovely condo in Manteo

We really enjoyed our stay in Manteo, with a great view of Pamlico Sound from the condo. The area is generally very quiet, and the condo is well stocked with necessary cooking utensils. Manteo is very convenient to heading north or south to explore the Outer Banks and away from the craziness of Nags Head. The condo itself is very comfortable. My only suggestion is a book or letter explaining where to park, expectations and suggestions for activities and favorite restaurants in the area so guests can make the best use of their time. There is so much to do, I highly recommend this place!

Very nice

This condo was bigger than we expected. Very clean, and I’m very particular in that area. We booked this for a quick weekend for a fishing charter at Oregon inlet. Not too far of a drive there. Kitchen was nice sized and perfect for when we brought fish back to package and put in freezer. Nice view of the canal of boats also.

Beautiful and Convenient

Condo is beautiful and extremely clean. The kitchen is well stocked and the bed is comfy. I traveled alone and I felt safe and secure in my surrounding. Parking was a little bit of a challenge in the afternoon due to the property is in a marina and there is a restaurant, but otherwise a great location convenient to everything in Manteo. I enjoyed my mornings sitting on the balcony that over looks the Marina and Shallowbag bay. Simply gorgeous! I would definitely stay again!

Condo is located in a great place in Maneto. Close to all the fun things and the view is beautiful. Condo is clean and Mary is fantastic! Enjoyed our stay!

Enjoyed our stay!

Property is as listed - clean, comfortable, and very well stocked. Great location with a beautiful view. Perfect for a couple or family of 3-4. We had a wonderful stay and would stay here again! Side Note: There is an elevator, but we didn’t see any luggage carts for loading/unloading convenience and will bring a cart/wheeled items next time.

Manteo getaway

My husband and I stayed at Mary’s place for the weekend to enable us to go to a baby shower for our daughter. We stayed in this area before and we love it! We enjoyed the pool and the walking distance. You have to certain stores and locations.. On Sunday, we enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching a storm brew over the ocean. Being near stripers restaurant is also a plus. We will definitely keep this place in mind when we have the urge or the need to come back to Manteo!

Awesome

Mary is an amazing host. They accidentally forgot to leave the key for the pool and the rec area. I messaged her and she responded immediately and even took hours out of her day to bring us the key. The condo and veiw are awesome also. 10/10 recommend.
