"Friendly staff, clean rooms, pool with good upkeep and generally tidy grounds. Can't really complain about anything major. Even if it's not exactly 5-star accommodation they are making a good effort to cater to the needs of westerners. The restaurant has plenty of ambience and again the staff is friendly but the service is slow (this is endemic in Zanzibar though) and the breakfast selection is quite basic. "Good service, nice spartment, great pool area, delicious restaurant, close to the beach and a good place for your vacation. But no Wifi inside the apartment and overall very bad connection. Could be a little bit cheaper in our opinion. Supermarket and ATM is a little far to walk."

"I stayed one night, next morning the smell of sewerage from the bathroom drain was horrendous. I left the hotel immediately . The stairs to the top floors are steep & dangerous . Not a pleasant experience ."

"Safari House had plenty of space for our family of five. While not in the heart of Stone Town, it wasn't a far walk (10 min) to get there. Romaine, our host, was quite accommodating. The power and water shut off in the morning and he was over immediately to fix it (we didn't realize it was on a timer and was an easy fix). He also allowed us to store our luggage there after checkout time while we went out for a bit before our flight home. "

"Adelina was a great host - It was my husbands birthday (&& i wasn't able to be present), she was very helpful with surprising him and making his birthday successful . She was also helpful with transportation and accommodating our needs . The place was clean and looked just like the picture presented . "

"Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar. Das Hotel ist einfach aber sauber und liebevoll gestaltet. Das Personal ist ist sehr freundlich und hilsbereit und stehen einem mit Rat und Tat jund Service ederzeit zur Seite. Die Lage ist toll. Vom Hotelrestaurant blickt man direkt in eine schöne kleine Gasse mit bunten Geschäften und aufs Meer. Nur 100 Meter und man steht schon am Strand. Das Essen im Hotel ist günstig und superlecker, besonders das frische Seafood hat es mir angetan. "
