The host checked on us and was very responsive when needed but really left us to do our thing. The house had modern amenities while still having all of the charm of a century home. "My wife and I arrive for a long weekend and were pleasantly when we arrived at the house. It was neat, clean, and perfect for two people. There were no noisy neighbors and although it is located on very busy Baltimore Street, pedestrian and vehicle noise wasn't an issue. Especially pleasing to us was the location! "We had an excellent stay. Parking is a little difficult especially if you have more than one vehicle. There are stairs but nothing that was a problem for us. The house is great and even stocked with some breakfast items. The location is perfectly located in the middle of town that you are in walking distance of both sides of town for shopping and eating. We only drove to go to the battle site. Check in was easy and we definitely enjoyed our stay. "

"The apartment was right in the heart of Gettysburg, walking distance to shops, ice cream, restaurants. The apartment had a vintage true Gettysburg feel and was just as pictures online presented. It had air conditioning and wifi which were important for our family. Top of the line washer and dryer available as needed and 2 different outdoor seating options outside for eating as a family as well. Communication with owner excellent. "
