"We had pre-booked a twin bedded room; when we arrived, it was a double; the receptionist tried to move the beds apart but couldn't as there was a double fitted sheet keeping them together. He thought that moving the beds would be acceptable until we pointed out that there was only one base sheet and one duvet ! "Lovely and clean. Room was modern, had a very well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. We had a lovey, large balcony on the 6th floor, just a shame the weather meant we didn’t get to use it. The apartments are in a quiet, residential area but not too far from all the attractions and it felt very safe. Staff were also pleasant and helpful. Would definitely return."

"What a wonderful stay in The Mike Hotel! What a relief to know there are still hotels like this, that really care about their guests. "Lovely spotlessly clean spacious apartment. Communication before and during was great, with easy entry instructions. Daily room service was very good. Location in Gzira was perfect for my wife and I. We enjoy a walk and walked into and around Valletta one day and Sliema the next. In the summer when it might be too warm for some to walk, or just too far for some people there seemed to be lots of bus and ferry services close by to get around. There were loads of food and drink venues close by too....
