"We had a wonderful stay at this property for the weekend. The cabin itself was very clean, comfortable and cozy. It turned quite cold the weekend we were there (goodbye summer), but we stayed plenty warm. There was a fire pit outside and a wood burning fireplace inside as well. After exploring the local area, we spent our evenings on the deck with a glass of wine, watching the bunnies and kangaroos in the paddock - so much serenity! Heather was an excellent host. Friendly and good...

"We absolutely loved our stay, everything was clean and well maintained. We stayed as 2 adults, 2 kids and our dog and the place was a great size with an even better backyard including chicken coop that the kids adored. Genevieve was lovely and courteous to our needs and was very understanding, lots of lovely touches to the place - nothing was a problem. We would definitely stay again!"

"Lovely property, renovated (but not "restored") to high standard but modern electricals (great wifi, TV) and kitchen/baths. Spacious home, multiple eating areas, quiet street, and with a terrific host. Maldon is a charming small town and well-located to see the goldfields area. Only downside is there are only a couple of places in the town proper to dine out (Castlemaine is close). But a great place with all creature comforts."

"We stayed here last year and again recently. Its clean, quiet and its great for dogs, the property is secure and well maintained. Inside is charming and welcoming, its clean with plenty of pretty much everything that is required. Good coffee at all the coffee stops in Maldon."

"This accommodation is just perfect for a couple's getaway. Peter was very responsive and helped out with everything we needed. While this property is attached to their home, we had plenty of privacy. Everything you need is on hand, plenty of space and stunning views. We ate out on the deck every night with a troop? of ducks, and watched the cockies find a tree to sleep in. While close to town (9km) we would stay here out of the hustle and bustle of Daylesford again in a heartbeat@!"

"We had a fabulous stay at the Mia Mia. Bronwyn was a fantastic host, providing comprehensive information about the property and recommendations for the area. The house was beautiful, clean and well equipped with everything we needed, and we appreciated the extra touch of arriving to a cosy warm fire. The Mia Mia was a great base for exploring Castlemaine, but we could have easily enjoyed spending the entire time at the house (which we hope to do on a future visit). We would definitely stay...
