Mary - Holiday rental in Malaga by Solaga

This stunning apartment has recently been fully renovated and decorated with the highest quality marble floors, brick walls and wooden work. It is located on Calle Carreteria - home of magnificent 19th century buildings with its beautiful wrought iron railings and bay windows. This emblematic street is currently undergoing a total rejuvenation with the opening of many trendy shops, healthy restaurants and in vogue local stores.

This property with two lifts is located on the 5th floor measures over 140 square meters and is made up of 2 large bedrooms with double beds. One has an en-suite bathroom. The other bathroom is located in the hallway. One has a bathtub, the other one a walk-in shower. Both bedrooms give onto a charming little street away from the noise of the main road.

There is a large laundry room with washing machine, dryer, sink, ironing board and lots of closet space.

The fully-equipped kitchen has everything one may dream of, with household appliances of the highest quality including two ovens, induction and gas stove tops, and a wine cooler cabinet. The open-space kitchen gives onto a large dining room and living room.

There is a private study on the side of the living room that can be closed off thanks to sliding wooden panels for more privacy. From there, you will be able to enjoy one of the most stunning views of the Cathedral and contemplate the cityā€™s charming roof tops.

This stunning apartment is the perfect home away from home during your stay in the city.

Great spot in the heart of town

Spacious, clean, and well-equipped. Very satisfied and would recommend. Just a word of caution if you like a quiet night, you will have to close all windows which keeps the sounds of the all-night partiers down. And I mean, all night.The management is responsive and kind. Malaga is awesome and we don't regret a thing.

Perfect Views and Location

We stayed around 3 weeks in November. The condo did not disappoint in any way! Views, spectacular from every window. Terrace, a wonderful place to watch a busy street that always had activity. Noise wasnā€™t bad if you closed windows. On a couple of nights we ran a noise machine. Mostly, we appreciated the bustle. The condo was fully stocked with everything you could want! Beds were comfortable. We would come stay again sometime. Malaga and many surrounding cities were just beautiful- Ronda, Granada etc - and easy to get to

Mary was good for us in Malaga

The Mary apartment was great for our 13 day stay in Malaga. Lots of space to spread out for the two of us and a kitchen made for cooking. A separate laundry room and large closet was an unexpected bonus. Two bathrooms and great water pressure were wonderful to have. The location on the edge of the old town, but still in it, made getting around very convenient. Grocery stores, restaurants and bars all within a 5 min walk if you want to stay close. If there is one downside, it would be the need for new beds (which has already been recommended via Solaga). The current beds aren't great for people with lower back issues. I would also say the main living area couch needs replacing too (it was OK but not great), but the couch in the study was very comfortable. With new beds, I would stay here again and again. We loved Malaga - there is so much to see and do and having 13 days allowed us to be relaxed about what we wanted to do and just live like a local. Teresa from Solaga was very helpful in getting us in the apartment and answering questions. For those renting from the US, they charge via Solaga, not VRBO, so if you'll want to make sure you use a credit card with no foreign transaction fee (if possible).

Long weekend in Malaga

Lovely property, very clean and well laid out. It is in a very central location which does create great noise on weekend nights so ear plugs were very helpful. Loved the balcony for coffee,wine and people watching. Being able to walk everywhere we wanted to go was perfect.

Great location

The apartment is very well located in the heart of the old town close to all the sights and excellent restaurants. The apartment is extremely well appointed and very stylish. Although in the centre of everything we werenā€™t disturbed by noise. I imagine anyone travelling for work would find the office a great addition. Solaga travel were easy to communicate with and helpfully stored our bags between checkout and flight.

Alles top, es wird sich sofort gekĆ¼mmert, wenn etwas nicht passt. Leider wurde in dieser Zeit die StraƟe neu gemacht, was doch mit BaulƤrm verbunden war. In der Nacht stƶrt er nicht, aber beim gemĆ¼tlichen FrĆ¼hstĆ¼ck auf der Terrasse war es schon ein bisschen stƶrend. Aber ansonsten eine sehr schƶne Wohnung, da zentral gelegen und alles zu FuƟ zu erreichen ist. Wir kommen gerne wiederā€¦.

Malaga Great Location and Amenities

We had a fabulous 2 weeks at the Mary apartment. Carlos and Theresa (at Solaga) were very helpful. The property was exceptionally well set up. My husband and I love to cook, and the kitchen had absolutely everything needed. The location was perfect! Close to a grocery store, all major attractions, etc. The location was a bit noisy, particularly on the weekends, but we rolled with it! When you are in central Malaga, this is a given at any property. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful apartment in a great location !

Malaga is a very pleasant town & this is the ideal place to stay to enjoy it. Beautiful apartment, accommodating 4 of us in comfort. Upscale appliances, fully equipped kitchen and laundry room, 2 ample bedrooms, 2 nice baths, living room & attached study - a very nice place to stay. Easy walk to everything - the Alcazaba is only 10 minutes away, and all of the old city and its shops, restaurants, museums and more. The harbor and the beach are only slightly further. Really great ! Highly recommended. The rental company was very responsive and accommodating as well. We would return in a heart beat !

Everything was good with our stay except the noise from the street outside. This was especially during the night, but also during the day with the traffic and collection of bins. The traffic fumes were also unpleasant. Sorry to complain as the apartment itself was excellent and the town of Malaga worth visiting

A true Home Away from Home in Malaga!

Everything about this property was wonderful. The location was ideal walking to all the city had to offer. The apartment was very comfortable and has a great kitchen for cooking if you choose to dine in. Great Wi-fi/ cable., laundry. The beds are very comfortable. We stayed here for 10 days for Spanish immersion school on this street and also day- tripped to Gibraltar, Sevilla, Granada and CĆ³rdoba. The property management was very helpful, responsive and delightful. Highly recommend this property!

Sehr zentral gelegenes Appartement. Nachts bei offenen Fenster schlafen leider nicht mƶglich da es ein lautes Nachtleben in Malaga gibt. Von der Einrichtung war alles vorhanden. Klimaanlage, mehrere KĆ¼hlgelegenheiten fĆ¼r Lebensmittel, WeinkĆ¼hlschrank usw. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of the city center

The apartment had everything you would need. A fully stocked kitchen, Green Egg on the patio, two refrigerators, a wine fridge, large laundry room with outside drying lines, etc. It was immaculate and welcoming. The noise at night was a bit loud (much worse on the weekends) but it was nothing that a good set of ear plugs couldnā€™t fix. The location was perfect for our needs. It was walking distance to almost everything; the train station was about a 20 min walk, the beach 10 min and shopping was at our doorstep. I would highly recommend this property or any that are managed by Solaga. It was a wonderful experience.
