"We booked very last minute and Karen couldn’t have been more helpful! We needed a base near Snowdon and this is a 15 minute drive away. The site itself is just what you’d hope : a bar ( Friday night was bingo!), a lovely river, the grounds beautifully kept and a well stocked shop with all sorts from loo roll to jewellery! "We had a lovely comfortable stay for a week in the cabin. Nice and warm with plenty of heaters to use if you needed to. The decking area was nice and enclosed so our little dog was secure,there’s also an off lead dog walking area on the site which is very pretty with a little brook running through it. The cabin is also quite private with hedges around it, the views are spectacular."

"Lovely break for 3 days. Lodge was very clean and well stocked with all essential items. Host was present for check in and was available for any queries. The only minor complaint would be that the bunk bed was not too comfortable but other than that a really enjoyable stay."

"We loved our time here. Although the weather wasn’t great, we enjoyed wonderful walks on the beach - particularly crossing the bridge to Barmouth. The hills behind the house are beautiful too, and the whole area is just lovely. The hot tub was great and we enjoyed the novelty of having a record player - so much so that we’ve come home and bought one! I left something behind and Eloise kindly offered to post it back to me too. We’d definitely return!"

"The cottage is fab and has everything you need for an amazing holiday. Just follow the instructions supplied and you will get there. The drive from the main gate to the cottage might seem daunting, but as long as you go slow... you can easily make it! The cottage is great, but not for the fait of heart. "Had an incredible stay at this cosy hotel/pub! The staff were beyond friendly, making us feel welcomed right from the start. The bed was the epitome of comfort, guaranteeing a good night's sleep after each exciting day. We'll definitely be coming back. The food was nothing short of amazing, with the Sunday carvery being a highlight – it's a hit with the locals too, so a tip for future guests: make sure to book in advance. Overall, a 10/10 experience, easily one of the best places I've stayed at."
