Great apartment located a few meters from the emblematic Plaza del Sol in Madrid (1 min), Plaza Mayor (5 min) and Ópera (5 min). Located, therefore, in one of the best areas of Madrid and in the heart of the tourist area. It is very bright too.



The apartment consists on a large living-dining room with two balconies and an open-plan kitchen with an island. Also, two bedrooms each one with a dressing-room and a bathroom in suite.



The apartment is prepared and equipped with everything you need so that you can enjoy each of its corners. It is delivered with the bed linen and towels necessary for the guests. In the bathroom, following the customs of the best hotels, you will find hand soap, shampoo and shower gel.



Completely renovated and equipped. Next to all the "traditional" points of great interest (tourist and leisure). When you leave it, you will run into all the social bustle of the capital. Upon entering, peace and relaxation guaranteed.



It is located on a 2nd floor with no elevator but with such comfortable stairs.

Amazing Apartment!

Such a wonderful stay! Perfect for my whole family (Me, my wife, and our child) my mother-in-law! Great location, quiet, just a perfect VRBO.

Beautiful and Great Location

We had a lovely stay overall in this beautiful flat in the perfect location. The only real issue was that the power kept going out. We learned that Madrid sometimes throttles electricity to residential properties, but this apartment seemed to have even more limited power than others. The hosts did send a technician to investigate, though unfortunately it didn’t resolve the issue. They suggested our international adapters were to blame, but outages occurred even when we weren’t charging anything—just using the air conditioning and watching TV. It was inconvenient at times, but ultimately didn’t ruin our stay and would be happy to return at some point. Also, as another guest mentioned, there is currently no lift, though it appears one is being installed based on visible construction. We managed the three flights of stairs with our luggage just fine, but others may find it more challenging.

This unit is as we had hoped. Very roomy and had the essentials. Very centrally located, particularly close to the Sol square and Metro. The only issue was the walkup to the apartment which is 2 full flights. It appears there is construction to install an elevator which would make this unit most desirable. The owner was very cooperative and let us store our luggage pending the stated 3pm access. You must have a smart phone as the entry system is tied to this.would certainly come again.

Chic Flat in Trendy Neighborhood

What a great find in Madrid. Chic Flat in Trendy Neighborhood, we really enjoyed our stay. Everything was immaculate and beds were great. The bathrooms were stocked with soaps, which is a plus. The kitchen and living room was open and airy with beautiful floor to ceiling door/windows. The check in app does not work properly so after a few days of trying we had to do an in person check in at an office an uber ride from the flat. Thankfully David was able to check us in no problem, appreciate the back up plan. Thanks again, amazing place.

Convenient and comfortable

The apartment was convenient, safe, and well maintained. There were people out having fun until dawn on the street below, but the bedrooms are located on away from the noise which was great. The beds were comfortable and the living areas good for spending time together comfortably.We are from the USA and were surprised by the small size of the combination washer/dryer. Everything else met or exceeded our expectations.Communication from the host was excellent.

Fantastic Madrid Apartment

We had a great stay here. The apartment is incredibly convenient and located right in the heart of Las Letras district. It is on a slightly busy street, but very little street noise. Bars, restaurants and grocery stores all literally right out the front door. There was some construction going on when we were there, but it wasn’t a big deal. Apartment is fairly spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was great and the beds were very comfortable as well. We did run out of hot water in the showers once, but we worked around it. Hosts are incredibly responsive and worked with us to be flexible on check-in and check out. They offer a luggage check service, but it is pretty far away from the apartment. All of the major sights are within a 15 minute walk from here and the Sol subway station is right around the corner. We loved it.

Wonderful....but

'Fab and wonderful VRBO. Location, set up, checking in all AThe one issue that we had was - the elevator was still under construction, stairs cut out sparks flying.. A small price to pay for a truly wonderful stay.Will certainly book again.Thank you Emily for a lovely flat in Old Madrid.C U again...Howie

Splendid madrid

Lovely in all respects but failed to get property manager to get toilet paper out to us - no prob,we bought what we needed ,but haven’t had that happen elsewhere. Nevertheless,great apartment,wonderful AC,great location,and would stay here again!

In the middle of everything

Excellent location, easy access to all the restaurants, metro, and museums. Downside of that location is the noise from all the bars etc. Great water pressure, comfortable layout.

Prachtig appartement, inchecken en contact omslachtig

Een heel mooi en luxueus appartement op een schitterende locatie in een orachtige stad. Ondanks de drukte op straat was het in de slaapkamers stil. De bedden en stoelen waren erg comfortabel. Alle actie en gezelligheid van Madrid begint voor de deur. Dit verdient allemaal 5 sterren. Het inchecken verliep helaas niet zo soepel en de communicatie was traag. De avond voor aankomst kregen we de codes om de sleutel op te halen in een centrum voor sleutelkastjes en bagageopslag. Van daar moesten we dan met de taxi naar het appartement. Het bericht dat we ontvingen was niet volledig en pas toen we al in Madrid geland waren (en na meerdere dringende verzoeken) kregen we het adres van ons appartement. In het appartement was geen informatie over de wifi en het gebruik van apparatuur. Pas de volgende dag kregen we de wificode. Ook over het uitchecken hebben we niets meer gehoord dus we hebben de sleutels maar in het appartement achtergelaten. Voor een appartement van dit niveau mag er toch echt wat meer zorg aan de dienstverlening en communicatie worden besteed.

Great Location in Plaza de Santa Ana

Great property in a very cool neighborhood. The Apartment is very comfortable with all basic amenities needed. The only problem was: 1. No elevator on the building and the apartment is located on the third floor of an old building. 2. Water heater is too small to be able to have four people shower back to back. After the second one finished, we had to wait about half a hour to get hot water again. Everithin gelse was great and would stay here again.

Wonderful stay for my 50th birthday!

I had a fantastic time in Madrid and in large part due to Emi's hospitality. Emi was great at communicating and offering recommendations, the apartment was exactly as pictured (if not nicer in person) and centrally located. As some have said, there is a bit of street noise but I found that fun (I am a New Yorker) and the bedrooms are to the back so it didn't interfere with sleep at all (and my bed was so comfy). The only tweak I might make is having some coffee / Nespresso caps available so that when you come in jet lagged you are ready to go. But this is a minor suggestion and overall a terrific stay. Thank you!

Comfortable and centrally located

The apartment is very nice for two couples. Both bedrooms are identical with identical bathrooms so both are treated equally. Even though we are seniors we walked everywhere because of the central location. The Prado is 10 minutes to the east and the Royal Palace is 15 minutes to the west. With the bedrooms in the back, the apartment is very quiet. You really notice the difference when the windows in the living area are open. Great people watching on the street below. If we are back again, we would definitely stay there again.

Great spot...great value

Loved the apartment! Floor to ceiling doors were a huge plus and gave great light. It was centrally located and easily walkable to lots of central Madrid. Cold AC and everything worked as it should. Yes there is a little street noise but this is just common in the area and was barely noticeable.

Our family of four had a comfortable stay in a convenient VRBO apartment in central Madrid. The location was perfect, within walking distance of all the major attractions. Despite some noise at night, the bedrooms located at the back were peaceful and unaffected. The apartment provided all the necessary amenities for a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Amazing find!

Apartment is exactly as advertised. Beautifully appointed and impeccably clean! Location is amazing. Central location and easy walk to most parts of the city.
