"I was very impressed with the hotel- excellent value for money and good location. This is a hsitorical hotel. Does feel dated but has charm. Maybe needs a little more TLC. Howver, the room and bathroom are updated and very comfortable. The quality of the bedding was superb. My bathroom was spacious and the towels full and fluffy. "The room was large and clean and completely comfortable--the hosts thought of everything. The bathtub and shower were both fantastic and we slept well in the bed. The breakfast was fresh and wonderful. Our hosts, Heidi and Tom, were kind and friendly and great to communicate with. They have created a welcome and interesting atmosphere in a terrific location. We look forward to staying again. "

"This hotel has all the makings of a good place to stay, but it falls short! The room had an unpleasant odor, and there was absolutely no housekeeping service or towel exchange—during a four-day stay, nothing was done, even after I specifically requested it at the front desk. The staff couldn't care less. The breakfast is decent—which is a slight redeeming factor—but the cleanliness is definitely the weak point."
