"If you are going to Mackinaw City, you really should stay on the beach. The Hamilton Inn was affordable, clean and best of all, right on the beach. There was also an indoor pool in case of bad weather, but we did not use it. Breakfast of scrambled eggs and waffles was available. It was hot and delicious. I did wish there were amenities like a lounge or restaurant, but there were lounges within a 3 block radius that were walkable, even for us senior citizens. "

"They come right to hotel to pick up to go to ferry lived that as you can walk back once you get back through the town after coming back on ferry or ride the shuttle back to the hotel."

"I stayed in the single travelers room and it was perfect size for me/ I had a great view of the water and street activity. If you don’t want to hear the hustle and bustle of the street I suggest a room in the back. I had a nice corner room in the front. The bathroom had a lot of counter space and a window which I loved. Only suggestions would be bigger side tables and a plastic laundry bag. Also it would be nice to have access to the balcony but I get why they don’t allow it. 10000% would stay...
