Sitting on 300 acres of woodlands, meadows and a lake, the cabin is nestled into the edge of a laurel wood. Enjoy showers looking out over a chestnut tree, cook over fire outdoors, or get cosy reading books next to the stove.

The cabin is designed for the "always on" to switch off - providing space to lock phones away and go analogue in nature with everything you need and nothing you don't.

The space 🛖
The cabin has been designed with relaxation and comfort in mind; it is spacious, yet cosy, with large picture windows looking out onto nature at every opportunity. We have placed a huge focus on high quality, Irish made and eco products. The cabin is entirely off-grid and powered using solar energy and built with sustainability in mind.

🌀Samsú cabins are designed for life in the slow lane, away from all of the notifications and buzzes of technology, and so you will find that everything in the cabin has been designed with analogue living in mind - a lockbox for your phones should you wish, Polaroid camera with film for you to document your stay, cassette player, and lots of curated books.

🛌The cabin has a king sized bed with two vast picture windows that open out onto a stream and forest. There is also a cosy dining table and corner bench to sit and read next to the wood burning stove. The kitchenette has two cooking hobs, a fridge and ample crockery for you to cook up a storm. The bathroom has a copper rainfall shower and a view over the stream. Irish made, natural bath products and fresh towels are provided. Outside you will find chairs and a bbq / fire pit. We provide cast iron pots and pans to cook outdoors should you wish. You will also find picnic blankets, baskets and flasks to take on an adventure across the meadows.

💤We understand how essential it is to relax and unwind and so when you arrive you will find an “analogue kit” waiting for you on arrival complete with sleep masks, Samsú sleep sprays, journals, film cameras, and books. We have also stocked the cabin with locally roasted coffee beans, tea, and some olive oil.

🌿With the basics taken care of, you can serenely savour a hand ground coffee next to the stove looking over the trees and watch the swallows soar and swoop. Enjoy a long, lazy morning in the king size bed, with organic cotton bed sheets and goose down duvets and pillows. Take a long walk across the forest with a picnic, or jump into the lake.
