We already had breakfast plans, but the aromas were fantastic and people we saw eating were having a great experience. If you’re looking for a nice place to get away and not worry about what to eat in the morning, head over there."

"We stayed for 2 nights and it was amazing! Sue and Dan will make you comfortable immediately. The room was very comfortable and clean. In the morning, Sue made lovely breakfast and had nice conversations. We will definitely be back again!"

"I had a great stay overall — the motel was clean, quiet, and well‑kept, with friendly staff and solid value for the price. The rooms were on the smaller side and the bed felt a bit cramped for two people; a different room layout might make the space feel more comfortable. Aside from that, everything worked well and the stay was genuinely pleasant. The outdoor BBQ and table were a great bonus and made the space feel welcoming. I’d happily return for a short visit."

"Nice property. Stayed on the top floor in the bunk rooms. Kids loved the bunks above the beds, and it was a pretty great idea to be honest. Very clean and spacious. Parking was easy and kids liked the pool/hot tub. The top floor has the breakfast room, but was being used for a function when we were staying there. The guests staying in other rooms that were in and out of the function were very loud in the hallway, and kids were running up and down. It did stop around 10, but with young kids...

"Was a great place for 3 nights. I never went to University but his felt like a dorm room. But, it was super clean and staff were pleasant. It would have been useful to have some cutlery , plates , dish cloths in the kitchenette etc. The Bed was dorm like, but satisfying."

"Our second stay at Manteo resort. Villa is spacious and clean. Beds very comfortable. Great staff. I highly recommend."

"Great hotel, but were some sound issues. As we were facing Boston Pizza, a truck backing up (with loud beeping) woke us early one morning. Next door neighbours could easily be heard through the ajoining door. Cleaning/vacuuming sounds were very noticable upstairs early one morning as well."

"Steve was a gracious host. The property is lovely. The rooms are large and attractively furnished with all the amenities one could want. We had breakfast on the balcony which had a lovely view. Steve was a chef in a former life and it showed in the quality of the breakfast which was both beautifully presented and delicious. We will definitely recommend this establishment to our friends."
