This review is submitted as a formal consumer warning.
The hotel is misrepresented online. Despite appearing new in photos, it is an older property with limited cosmetic renovations, mainly in common areas. The rooms and overall condition do not justify the pricing.
During an extension of our stay, the hotel allowed a duplicate reservation, then refused to refund one of the charges without justification. Management, particularly the lobby manager Jose, was dismissive and uncooperative.
More concerning are the hotel’s security and billing practices:
• Unauthorized entry into the room shortly after check-in, disguised as a “complimentary delivery”
• At checkout, guests were not allowed to leave unless an additional credit card was provided
• A damage charge was imposed without evidence or explanation
• The situation was escalated using multiple security staff, creating an intimidating environment that pressured payment
These actions raise serious concerns regarding unauthorized room access, misrepresentation, and coercive billing practices, particularly toward international travelers.
This stay was meant to celebrate a birthday and instead resulted in stress, financial loss, and feeling unsafe.
