We went on a 20 minute killing spree the moment we walked into the room. There was so much mosquitoes, the wall was plastered with dead black little bodies. Swarms come in every time the door was open so our arms and legs were all bit. The bedroom doors were shut in the suite to prevent more biting. On top of that we had to kill all mosquitoes before sleeping.
With 2 children, this experience was pretty stressful. The staff sprayed our room since we complained and it was still a hard to control situation after a day.
For a Hilton hotel, I would have expected more food options but there were 2 main restaurants and 1 bakery. There are better food, albeit few, options across the street.
You could get anywhere with a stroller but it was a journey to get anywhere. Lots of small staircases and hidden elevators that makes getting through the resort such a hassle.
Speaking of family friendly, aside from the splash pad that was accessible to kids, there is also a Kids Club. It is the size of a hotel room and it was not included in the daily resort fee nor the cost of the stay. It was an additional $20 per hour and no parents were allowed. So honestly, there was not much for my toddler to do other than the pool.
Disappointed in the amenities and also being uncomfortable every night.
2 Stars for the in building laundry machine. Now this is a must have in our future bookings.
