Any tide below 2 feet is usually good to walk on beach..
NOTE: TIDES CHANGE DAILY.. and even when waves make lots of close in noise and splashes.. we have never had any structural damage to the house.....
Birthday type parties, small short time prior to 9 o’clock noises are 99.99% a non issue, as neighbors are not usually around for more than 2-3 days a month.. But when they are directly next door... please be mindful.. Talk to host.....
Your privacy is guaranteed.. as you have direct access without stairs from your parking space into the house... you have two doors... Call Host prior to visiting for CODE... only one person, manager will have access to the beach from a common hallway via a common trap door.... Communicate w Host on times... Your comfort and PRIVACY comes first
The Neighborhood:
NEIGHBORHOOD: I grew up on Malibu beach private homes, and vacationed in family Caribbean beach spreads. All are nice, but this place is MAGIC.. my very private and very well to do famous, well traveled, and rich beach neighbors and visitors that I body surf - play with their dogs - beach comb and simply hang out have coined this special place GHETTO BEACH for it's undiscovered by the masses, and is so friendly... of all the attributes a beach can get this one is special because of the people first and formost- LOCATION: Out of the 27 miles of Malibu Beaches This Beach BIG ROCK BEACH one of the CLOSEST to Santa Monica, LAX, LA Civic Center..
PEOPLE: Beach people are CHILL... as long as you and your pets are nice and cleaned up after. You can't imagine a nicer more sharing of joy group of neighbors on the beach. You could be sharing yoga experiences, joining for a bike ride, sharing body surfing waves, or walking and talking philosophy with very cool persons who vary from famous to rich to ordinary humble.
Getting around:
MOVEMENT from THIS CLOSE TO TOWN BEACH NIRVANA SPOT to major metro area is the BEST possible place to be from within Malibu Period.. Better to be breathing salty sea air than the poisons of exhaust from city dwellers...with the following options.
PRIVATE CAR.... Plenty of Private dedicated parking Just for you/ your guest w 2 Slots in front, and plenty of free parking within 60 feet of front door
UBER/LYFT: Since your close to town this place makes going to movies/ events/ bars and restaurants very affordable and convenient..
BY FOOT: Walking distance to Moonshadows; RECOMENDATION after dark... to wear white clothes so you are seen easily by drivers that might be distracted by being on cell phones.
PRIVATE CAR/DRIVER: Depending on situation, and destination neighbor/manager are available... for running you to store to stock up on essentials.. Costco recomended if staying for over 5 days...
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Frequent bus loading and unloading available very nearby... so you can load up your bicycle or body and hop on a public bus which connects you to Santa Monica, LAX, Downtown LA Staples center, Long Beach ... all for very cheap..
BIKING: We got 2 bikes here you can use, but I recommend only using early on the weekends as PCH traffic can be a mess. You can make arraignments to have my driver take you and bikes to further away special destinations.... or because we are so close to town you can get a ride to the famous Southern bike paths...
