    Nosso duplex acolhedor foi construído em 1932 e foi continuamente remodelado na última década, mas conseguimos manter todos os elementos encantadores. Alguns anos atrás, contratamos um designer de interiores para remodelar tudo, desde o mobiliário até o talheres. Há um colchão queen Beautyrest no quarto principal com roupa de cama de alta qualidade. Móveis de couro em toda a sala familiar. Uma cozinha totalmente equipada com tudo o que você precisa para criar uma refeição fantástica. 2 TV de tela plana HD TV e Frontier FIOS de alta velocidade de cabo e internet sem fio. O banheiro foi remodelado com um spa favorito em mente. A caminhada no chuveiro inclui duche duplo, jactos corporais e pedras do rio para massagear seus pés. Existem pisos de madeira e travertino por toda parte. O segundo quarto inclui uma cama de rodízio de solteiro com 2 colchões de solteiro (1 espuma de memória e 1 colchão de molas).

Great Manhattan Beach location

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in El Porto. The location is perfect for beach time, plus exploring LA. The house is adorable, and great for a family of four. It is nicely appointed and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking pans and tools. There were also restaurants a quick walk away. El Tarasco's was one of my favorite spots when I was in college, and that was the first place we went to eat. As a coffee lover, I really appreciated the Nespresso machine. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and you can always ride a bike down to Hermosa beach if you want a little bit more action. Next time we will need to stay for two weeks!

Everything we needed

Great for a homey long term stay. Well set up for WFH. Some great local spots to walk to and of course the distance to the beach is unmatched.

Great location Enchanting not so much

The house was very satisfactory but after a couple days problems begin to develop. The first being the lack of air flow in the house even with both included fans running and all the windows open the house gets very hot this was frustrating as the property owner stated air conditioning was going to be installed in a 2018 reply of a review. Next the house was littered with dog hair which was a surprise considering this was a pet free rental this was brought to the owner's attention with no compensation. The lack of blinds in the front windows is also a problem with the neighbors across the street being able to see directly into the house. Next the outside Lounge area is detached from immediate access to the house and requires going around the front of the house to the back. The shared propane BBQ in this area is very frustrating to use especially for a person who barbecues frequently there are highly flammable decorations directly next to this barbecue along with a white rug underneath the barbecue. This was laid out by someone who does not use a barbecue grill. The lounge area is sandwiched between the back buildings and offers no View other than concrete for 360 degrees. Along with that you are in front of multiple windows of the downstairs tenant while being in that area along with the tenants front door. The downstairs tenant is the worst factor in this rental. They were intrusive and confrontational over shared spaces including laundry areas. This can be expected though considering certain life choices would put someone in a small rental underneath a vacation house. Whereas you would become jaded towards people constantly vacationing above you The owners response will include promises to fix certain things. Or the boilerplate response of sympathy or empathy, case in point previous response falsities such as air conditioning.

Wonderful stay

Very nice well situated property. Nice neighborhood. Close to beach and other amenities Comfortable place with nice accommodations. Close quarters but quiet friendly neighborhood Felt safe Only caveat was parking. Spaces are fine for two cars but with small suv as I have and another car it is difficult to maneuver a park Will definitely return!

Wonderful

My stay at this wonderful property was all and more than I hoped for. The property has everything needed in every room from a fully equipped kitchen to a delightful shower in the bathroom and perfect dinning and living room furnishings. For me, the location was out of this world- a short walk to a fantastic long bike pat, the delightful Strand walking path by numerous beautiful gardens and a beautiful beach. A fantastic experience

Delightful Stay!

We stayed for the month of February. Jeanette was terrific in all ways as is her home. It was truly a delight to spend time in this charming home and we hope to be back again! Great location and a delight to see and visit the ocean every day.

Cozy beach home

I stayed here for a month with my three college aged kids while they were on winter break. We spent time surfing, relaxing, reading and cooking. The location is ideal, having parking is a luxury and Jeanette’s home is well equipped if you like to cook! We want to come back!

California Beach Living

This is an amazing property, close to the beach and with everything you need for a perfect beach vacation. Manhattan Beach/El Porto is also very conveniently located in the South Bay with easy access (with a car) to LAX, Santa Monica, Los Angeles, etc. for short trips, shopping, and sightseeing. The parking right in front of the property is a huge plus. Jeanette is a great host. We are looking very much forward to our next stay. Thank you!

Spring Break with Family of 4

Quiet location, fabulous view, very clean, wonderful amenities. Jeannette wrote a great visitors guide and responded immediately to any questions. We have been to the area many times and would highly recommend this place.

Beach house

We had an awesome visit. Jeanette was most responsive even though she was on vacation herself. The location was terrific, very close to the strand. The apartment had everything that was listed in the vrbo write up. We appreciatie her communicating with our daughter to make our visit more comfortable. We will come back again, hopefully.

Just what we expected

Manhattan Beach and the property were exactly as advertised. Jeanette was an incredibly responsive and solicitous host, responding to my incessant questions within minutes. Although she was on the other coast during our visit, she helped with all of our needs including expanding her cable subscriptions so that her TV included sports channels! The place is tight for two kids over 14 - our 16 and 20 year-olds did battle over who would take the trundle. But the house provides a lot of bang for the buck.

Very quaint and cozy, with a nice view of ocean waves. We could hear the surf every night too.

Loved it, and hope to be back. It is in a perfect location, and you can walk everywhere. Love the tasty restaurants and diners too.

A great location welcoming home well equipped kitchen wonderful shower very comfortable bed

We highly recommend for couples whether business trip or leisure. The Main bedroom is perfect the second is below with stairs and not great if you have small children but a single adult in your group would be fine. The host Jeanette is amazing - so very pleasant helpful and always available by text /cell phone - you will not find a better VRBO host. And the location is only a short walk down your street to the beach; generous supply of beach towels etc.We strolled along the promenade to Manhattan pier; other restaurants a walk away. The duplex is quiet and it is safe laundry easy access below the duplex and really friendly neighbourhood. Overall, is as it is described an enchanting Spanish Duplex; superb space to work and relax.

Great little place just steps from Manhattan Beach

My husband and I spent the month of September here and had a fantastic time. The apartment is small, but has everything you need while on vacation. The location is good, close to the beach and several restaurants and bars on Highland. The Manhattan Beach pier is about a mile walk, but since the walk is on the beautiful strand, you don't mind it at all.

Love it, Back to the beautiful beach house again.

What a wonderful treat being able to walk to the beach and enjoy the cool breezes. This nicely furnished home has it all. Right by the strand with many fun restaurants just a stroll away. Watching the ocean sunsets out of the peek a boo window was a nightly must. We go back every year and have never been disappointed. We high recommend this for couples and families.

Fantastic location 1 block to the beach!

We couldn't have been more comfortable in this home away from our home! The property is a 1 minute walk to the beach and 5-10 minute walk to a bunch of little restaurants in North Manhattan Beach. The apartment is just like the photos and description. Perfectly maintained and extremely clean! It has really cute beach decor, and extra touches like beach chairs, beach towels and a boogie board. The kitchen fully stocked with everything you need. The owners were always quick to respond to any questions we had. Since the weather was unusually hot during our stay, the owners installed an AC unit in the master bedroom. We felt so lucky to be able to stay in such a lovely home. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a great spot close to the beach!

Great value in amazing location!

This place was a great spot for relaxing by the beach for a long weekend. It's a very short walk down to the water. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. I cooked breakfast every morning and walked to dinner along the strand every evening. The walkability of this location is wonderful, we didn't need the car once we arrived. The owner was great and answered all of our questions and had great recommendations. It was a breeze checking in and out. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful beach bungalow!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming apartment. Jeanette was a pleasure to work with - very responsive and went out of her way to make sure all was well at the apartment. The place is well maintained and super clean, beds are comfortable, and kitchen is stocked with all the necessities. It's located in North Manhattan Beach which is easy access to the airport and other cities across LA county. We spent lots of time hanging at the beach and walking on The Strand to nearby restaurants and shops. We also got to visit Disneyland which is only 40 minutes away. Looking forward to returning soon!

Disappointing

Jeanette was very responsive, but the property was disappointing. After the fact I guess we could have deduced from the photos that there were steps inside the unit, but had no idea that the secondary bedroom was down an inconvenient set of uneven steps. While one can sit on the couch and see the ocean, the building next door blocks the ocean breeze. Even with day time temperatures between 75 and 80 while we were there, the living room - and especially the kitchen - was uncomfortably hot by early afternoon and didn't cool down until well after dark. Luckily I brought a tower fan with me because the small window fan was totally inadequate to help, in addition to being so noisy that I was afraid it was on its last legs. I can't even imagine what it would be like with temperatures in the 80's. The beds were comfortable and the ceiling fan in the master and the larger table fan in the downstairs bedroom made sleeping bearable. Not much within walking distance.
