Experience a unique bucket list stay in our large hidden 2 room apartment that boasts epic views of downtown LA tucked up high in the Hollywood Hills of Beachwood Canyon and steps from the iconic Saroyan Stairs. Plus more hikes such as the Belden/Woodshire stairs. This is a celebrity neighborhood so you'll never know who you'll see walking their dog.
Another great workout is a 30 min hike to the iconic Hollywood Sign and Lake Hollywood Park. Other nearby sites are Hollywood Walk of Fame, Runyan Canyon, Universal Studios and Griffith Park 15 min drive away.

THIS PROPERTY IS ABOUT 13 MILES DRIVE TO SOFI STADIUM.
** Owner lives in the main house with their small dogs a toy poodle. This studio is below the house and there are shared walls - you may hear them through your ceiling but they are very mindful. We have a sound machine in the unit, but if you're an extremely light sleeper this may not be best suited for you. We are fully transparent that you are renting a private lower unit attached to the house above and may hear occasional noises above you and their dogs barking when you first arrive.

Due to stairs along the path and outdoor spiral staircase, this studio is not suitable for small children or those with mobility issues.
Guests are welcome to explore the outdoor back gardens and gazebo, but please note that the path is uneven and you may get a visit from the owner's dogs.
Residential Street Parking Only (min 1 car). No RV's, trailers or hitches. Hollywood Hills streets are well-known to be very narrow and windy.

HOUSE RULES:
It is our mission to ensure that our valued guests enjoy their stay with us! This is a permitted short-term rental with the City of LA. We also have an equally as important commitment to our neighbors and our community. Below are the house rules that we must enforce. Please read them as well as all your guests prior to confirming your reservation.
* Minimum age policy is 25 years old. Valid photo ID will be required, as well as names and ages of all your Guests.
* Check-in is after 4 pm | Check out is at 11 am
MAX NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS (3 people) Extra Guest Fee $90/guest per night
The Property is to be occupied by no more than the maximum sleep number stated on reservation unless approved in writing by Management. If Guest exceeds the occupancy limit and falsifies occupancy information at the time of reservation, Guest shall be subject to eviction. "Occupants" includes small children, infants and any and all visitors. If more than the maximum number is found to be occupying the Property at any time, you agree that a charge of $100 per person/per day will be made to your credit card. Additionally, this Agreement may be immediately terminated without a refund of any amounts paid. No Exceptions.
NO PARTIES OR EVENTS - due to the City of LA's strict ban of parties of large groups we need exact headcounts of your guests at all times. Outside visitors not permitted.
A party is defined as any combination of the following; ANY loud noise and/or excessive drinking that is disruptive to neighboring houses and/or guests outnumbering the maximum amount permitted as defined above. A party will result in an immediate eviction from the property with no refund given under any circumstance. Any exceptions to this policy must be approved by iTrip Vacations Hollywood in writing prior to the arrival date.
NEIGHBOR COMPLAINTS
Actions by guests that result in neighbor complaints or police being called to the Property will result in a minimum $250 charge, which charge will be used to deal with legal issues and fines.
NOISE ORDINANCE: 10 pm – 7 am.
Please be mindful of our neighbors during your stay. The property's quiet hours are in place to ensure that you and our whole community can enjoy a restful night's sleep.

Amazing Hollywood Hills
Property up on hollywood hills with beautiful views, close to hollywood sign, great walks around area. Close to pretty much all LA sights. Clean studio with all that we needed at hand for our stay. Contact with property management company was easy and always available for any questions or requests. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to experience LA.

A lovely stay in LA
I had the most amazing stay in the Secret Stairs apartment in the Hollywood Hills. The area felt super safe and was surrounded by the prettiest houses and nature but yet also so close to citylife (30 minute walk to the Walk of Fame). I went for a walk everyday and now I’m back home I miss it so much. The apartment was very clean and offered me just everything I needed. The matress could have been better, but everything else was just perfect. Thank you for having me! I will be back!

The space was just as pictured. Great location. I was told I was alone with the main older tenant in the house only to find a 20 something male in a unit on the property. As a single woman I couldn't leave the door open to enjoy the view and had to keep blinds closed as he walked by. I also had to take steps to try and secure the front open window with no lock mechanism. There was a smell of pot that was overwhelming in the apartment even after I talked to management. This too away the charm and feeling of safety.

Great hideaway
This place is cute and clean and has all the amenities you would need. It's up in the Hollywood hills so be aware that driving and parking on the street is a challenge, but it's doable. Views cannot be beat. The only complaint I had was we smelled weed almost constantly day and night coming through the vents. That's the only reason I didn't give the property 5 stars. I'm aware weed is legal in CA, but this was insane. Luckily it's always so beautiful there, so when we came home everyday we just opened windows and doors to let it air out.

Perfect location
I was so happy we chose this beautiful and quiet location. In historic Hollywoodland high in the hills, we had a view of downtown and a nice cool breeze even in summer. There were people staying above us, but we never heard them. We also never heard the owners dog as other reviews mentioned. It has AC, but on especially warm nights we could run a portable AC (kept the main room COLD). The room with the daybed got warmer, but a tower fan when needed kept it comfortable. Keep in mind we were there in August, and the weather was warmer than usual. The secret (Saroyan) stairs of Hollywood are right outside the door and you can hike pretty close to the Hollywood sign. Studio was clean and comfortable and whatever extra supplies we needed could be picked up at the neighborhood Beachwood Market. Brunch was outstanding at the Beachwood Cafe, and a short drive away was Birds for dinner. The roads are super narrow and winding and there is limited parking, but everyone seems used to it and we didn’t encounter any problems. Management was super responsive when we didn’t see the extra towels on-site. Would definitely stay again.
