A Gem

This cozy, romantic, 2 store cottage house is only 20 minutes drive from LA downtown. The hosts are super nice, easy checking and communication. Kitchen has good utilities. Pool and hot tub clean, ready to jump in! We are definitely consider another stay next time visiting LA.

Reserved the guest house for our honeymoon and it was PERFECT. Host was super friendly and communicated well so that we knew what to expect upon arrival as well as during our stay. The property is beautiful as well. The guesthouse has air conditioning, a fireplace and WIFI! We had good weather during our stay but glad we had the option of AC if we needed it. Kitchen had all the fridge and freezer space as well as oven/stove for cooking as needed. Saved us some money from eating out in LA every night . We loved the location as well as it was a nice way to retreat from the hustle and bustle of LA/Malibu. We used the hot tub which was great as well. Thanks for making our honeymoon memorable!

Everything was immaculate. The pool was well maintained throughout our stay, and the yard truly felt like our own little paradise. As someone who loves birds, I was especially thrilled by the variety we saw — and even their sounds were different from back home, which made it such a special treat.The location was perfect — surrounded by nature and so peaceful. It was the ideal place to relax and unwind. We would absolutely stay again!

It was as described, the hot tub was wonderful to relax in, the grounds were beautiful! Rachel gave wonderful recommendations for hikes and Malibu beaches which were beautiful. She was quick to reply to any texts, and ensured we would fine the home on arrival.

Hot tub didn’t work at all, locked out one night we had to enter a different way! Spiders everywhere! Never told about the roads being the way they were! Everything in cabinets hard as a rock!!

Rachel was very welcoming before and during our stay. The location is so serene. Our guest house was perfect with the beautiful spa right out our door. Nicely updated kitchen & bathroom. All the amenities needed in this gem guest house.

Rachel, our host, went over and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect! She was very flexible, communicative, and overwhelmingly hospitable. The house is such a nice little getaway tucked into the Topanga Canyon. The pool, spa, and garden were beautiful. There was plenty of space to run around with our dog in the terraced garden! Cute and comfortable! We really enjoyed the guesthouse and its beautiful surroundings. The pool was lovely, though too cold to use during our stay — but the spa hot tub was amazing, and we enjoyed it every day. The kitchen, with its full-size refrigerator, gas stove, and small dishwasher, met all our needs perfectly. The bed was comfortable with good pillows (important for us) Rachel was easy to reach and responsive when we had a question or two.We’d highly recommend staying here! We also loved hiking at nearby Dead Horse and doing a bit of shopping in town.

Rachel was a phenomenal host! Very accommodating! The house was clean, comfortable and had everything you need for a comfortable stay! The pool and hot tub were very relaxing after a day of hiking at Topanga state park! I would recommend this property to anyone traveling in the area!!

The location is fantastic, only a few minutes away from Santa Monica but up in the hills so it looks completely remote. The view is insane! The pool and hot tub were wonderful, we actually ended up spending both afternoons just lounging around and swimming. The beds (including the sofa bed) were very comfortable. This would be an ideal location for a couple, and served as an excellent home base for our family also. We have two kids, one elementary and one middle school age; they shared the sofa bed.

The host was very responsive and friendly. We loved being under a peaceful canopy of trees with the pool right outside the door. We even had a small frog visit us in the morning! I would stay there again when visiting Los Angeles.

Absolutely charming, cozy, peaceful and beautiful pool house and garden. We loved the quiet, the birds, magnificent trees from the hot tub. We live in central Los Angeles but took a staycation here for 3 nights and had an absolutely wonderful time! Although close to the city we felt worked away with the beautiful garden, pool, jacuzzi, and best of all - quiet! Rachel is an outstanding and responsive host, and our dog loved meeting her dogs. We had a beautiful and relaxing stay at this cozy house! The space was just what we needed — peaceful, private, and incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the heated pool and Jacuzzi, which made our time there feel like a true getaway. The area was quiet and serene, perfect for unwinding. The host was amazing — very kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing escape!

So relaxing

Booked this cute little place for a staycation with some friends and it was perfect. Super quiet and relaxing while also not being super far from the city. The spa and pool were lovely and the star gazing we did on the deck at night was incredible. I will 100% be rebooking in the future with my family. Plus if you’re a fan of dogs, you might just be greeted by a golden retriever in the morning (but don’t worry if you’re not, Rachel was a great host and will make sure they’re out of the way of you need)

Quiet in Topanga

If you are looking to get away from the noise and get back to serene nature , this property is for you. We enjoyed quiet morning walks with the views and charm of Topanga Canyon. Property was relaxing and cozy. The property owners attentive when needed and great hosts. Highly recommend for a peaceful get away.
