The main reason we chose Lebanon was its proximity to Maker's Mark and the Chihuly exhibition, however, it was a perfect home base for distillery tours in Lawrenceburg, Frankfort, Versailles and Cox's Creek. During our stay we were able to shop at the Sunny Side Saloon and have delicious cocktails at the Key Lounge and then walk around the corner to return to Sunny Side Up. "Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hosts were easy to communicate with.For older adults, the number of stairs may be an issue. Only issue we had was the street noise from loud trucks and motorcycles in the evenings since the property overlooks the main street through town. Ample free parking was an asset."

"This place was perfect for a few days stay. It was close to so many distilleries and the town is very quaint. This little studio was very clean and we felt safe as well. We have e-bikes and we chained them to the pole outside and were not concerned about them a bit. I definitely recommend the Bourbon Oak Hideaway!"

"The property was clean and well decorated. The beds were comfortable. Great, huge TV. The host was very responsive. It is an excellent location. If I had to give any suggestions, the "common area" could be a bit more comfortable. It is fine if you just have two adults but not the best for four people to sit for any extended period of time. Men do not like sitting in the small barrel/club chairs. "

"We had a wonderful 1 night stay. The host was very gracious and helpful. We just happened to book the night of the courthouse lighting. The host let us know of road closure timings & had us check in early which was convenient for us. The lodging was in a perfect location for not only the lighting but to enjoy shops & bars without having to get back in our car. The space was clean & bed was very comfortable! We will book again & recommend to friends & family!"
