I really enjoyed the use of Olga’s property. The flat was like a home away from home so I could have meals in and do my laundry for the 2 weeks I was there. Bed is a regular mattress but comfortable. Only a few minutes walk to the Thames, bridges and walking paths. No A/C, I stayed the first couple of weeks in Sept and with open windows/patio doors plus a provided fan in the bedroom worked well. There are 2 floor fans in the living room as well. I could search the internet for instructions on how to use the convection oven and combo washer/dryer unit (there is a drying rack if needed too).It was reasonably convenient to see all of what London has to offer. If you like walking Victoria Station is 18 mins away, Natural History and V&N Museum are 41 mins away. The Northern Line Battersea Station is a 13 min walk away and can take you via Charring Cross to Oxford Street/British Museum area and Euston Station or change a Kennington and take the Northern Bank line to the Tower of London/Tower Bridge area. It’s a nice property in the Battersea Power Plant area which has been redeveloped into a new shopping, restaurant, residential area.
