"Merumatta is a former flagship resort at Senggigi, and the pool villa club was built 2000. It is very well maintained, and the service is superb. Positioned on the Senggigi beach, it is a great place for relaxing and sunbathing. It is also a great start point for tours to the gilis in north or south, as well as to the Rinjani mountain. "Stunning hotel! Very large rooms with gorgeous balcony views of the ocean. The infinity pool offers excellent views, especially at sunset. Staff were friendly and always available to answer questions. The only difficulty experienced was with the on-site spa and the inability to access the jacuzzi unless you pay for a very expensive spa treatment. It is also almost impossible to get an appointment if you don’t schedule 2-3 days in advance so we could not access the jacuzzi at all during our stay....

"The resort is fairly new and very nice. Rooms are beautiful and staff very helpful and friendly staff. Only question I would have is that the 2nd pool was cloudy, and the water shoud be clear. I would stay again, definitely "
