"Loved: The owner, Sue, is amazing! She was above and beyond the sweetest, most attentive host! I appreciated her attention to detail and making sure my stay was as wonderful as possible. The room was super nice! Loved the bed, wonderfully warm and comfy. The view of Loch Earn was beyond words, so beautiful! Very nice size bathroom with big bathtub and shower. TV, mini-fridge, kettle, and Keurig amenities in the room. Kitchen and bar service very good. Beautiful hotel and grounds. Pet-friendly....

"I stayed here so that I could attend the Highland games in Crieff and was only here just over 13 hours. Keep in mind that it's an old building with no a/c or lift and you'll be just fine! I took only the things I needed for the night in with me (leaving the rest in my car, where it felt very safe) and I slept with the window open and I was just fine (I'm very warm-blooded). "Receptionists on arrival and departure very obliging and helpful giving my wife and I an upgraded room as there was one available. All staff polite and made sure all was to our satisfaction. "Every time we come back to the Royal, it never ceases to disappoint. The staff are the people who make this such a special and charming hotel. The warmest of welcomes and we were so well taken care of. Attentive and polite customer services, similar to that of Ashford Castle, that seems to be lost in many establishments these days. The only complaint we had, was that the bedroom was cold even with the small radiator up to its maximum temperature, and the fires had not been lit in the bar area...

"We loved the Riverside room. Beautiful view of the river. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept in so we didn’t get a chance to have the breakfast, but it looked like it was going to be amazing. The host are incredibly friendly and accommodating. "This was a great experience. Friendly staff. Indian restaurant was amazing. Great service and will definitely stay again. Things to remember, they don't do breakfast but there are cafes and a hotel across the road for breakfast. The room was clean and well stocked for staying but a little dated. Very comfortable bed.
