"Beautiful classic Georgian country Pub. Big comfortable room with a huge bathroom. The bed was also big and comfortable. We didn’t eat at the pub so cannot comment on that, but the village has several nice places to eat."

"The welcome at reception was friendly and helpful. Our room was a decent size and dog friendly. Hotel is like a rabbit warren but well sign posted. Comfortable bed and efficient shower, decor was a bit tired and the lift was an old style metal gate which relied on other customers closing the gate after use so others could use it. Breakfast was served in a light and roomy restaurant, however as we had our dog with us we had to sit in the bar ( this was being repaired with scaffolding and noisy...

"We traveled all the way from the United States for a very special occasion — our daughter's engagement at Chatsworth House — and The Pilsley Inn made the trip even more memorable. What a find! "3 night stay over Easter. Pub was clean and comfortable although bed mattress was very firm which meant disturbed sleep for stay. Owners very welcoming. Breakfast was 8-9am which I felt was a little early as we usually like to have a lazy wake up without having to have alarm on so wasnt as relaxing as we would have liked. Breakfast was good but simple so would not have wanted to stay any longer. 1 or 2 nights at the most. No fruit or alternatives and not asked if we preferred eggs cooked...

"Wow! The most beautiful nights stay at The Peacock, the scenery, the room, the food, the staff. I didn't want to leave. I LOVED the little touches - the Peacock shortbread, the glass bottles for water/milk, bath salts. I've stopped in a lot of hotels and I have to say this stay beats them all. Perfect! Thanks so much. "The location is wonderful and it was very quiet at night. However, there was a bright light close to the window and no black-out curtains, so too light in the room for my liking. The breakfast was nice, but the poached egg was overcooked. The scrambled eggs looked nice though. Staff were very friendly."

"Eu escolhi esse hotel pois queria conhecer o Stanage Edge e tb a Chatsworth house, e ele fica bem proximo. O quarto é super limpo e agradável, o único problema no dia q fiquei eles estavam com o aquecedor com problemas e não funcionava 100%, por isso o quarto esta muito muito frio. Mas de modo geral o hotel foi oq eu esperava. "
