"The listing indicated pets were welcome and we were able to bring our 13 year old dog, who loves traveling with my husband and I. There was some initial confusion after we booked the Schoolhouse, saying pets are prohibited. Through contact with the host, it was cleared up pretty quickly. All in all, the place was comfortable and we had what we needed to cook a couple of meals. I loved the area and enjoyed walking our dog on the state-maintained back roads. "Rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was great. The only thing was we needed to leave a day early due to a storm coming, couldn't get a refund, I think that was an Expedia thing."

"The hotel is fine, nothing fancy of course as that's not expected. However, our key cards did not consistently work so I had to go down to the front desk twice. Also, the ice machine is on the 1st floor, and I prefer it be on the same floor as our room."
