Acadia is less than an hour away so completely do able for a day trip. The town of Bucksport is quite adorable and quaint with a nice water front walk. "We stayed in Belfast for almost a week, to visit our son and his fiancee. This apartment has everything that we need, all on a single floor. The front wall of windows overlooks the river as well as. the local businesses on the Main Street with all of the people coming and going. Delightful!!
